Hayes brought in a full compliment of 30 players yesterday and thse bios were carefully researched if I do say so myself. I've spent the better part of four hours running all this stuff down so here you go.

Marshall Glenn QB 6-3 200 Charlotte, N. C. (East Mecklenburg HS)*
Second Team All-State, Rated the top senior QB in North Carolina, led the Eagles to the N.C. 4A semifinals last fall. He was 237-for-396 passing for 3,161 yards and 34 touchdowns. He also rushed for 936 yards and 10 touchdowns. He ranks 14th all-time on the N.C. list for passing yards in a season. Threw for 2200 yds as a junior. Durable, great vision, quick release, and a very accurate passer who reads coverages well and is extremely dangerous with the long ball or when getting outside of containment into the open field. Judged by most recruiting experts as a “can’t miss” prospect. 4.55 speed.
Jason Douglas QB 6-1 190 San Francisco, CA (San Mateo JUCO)
Second team CJCAA All America, superior leadership skills, extremely savvy and great throwing arm. Has ability to run and throw equally well and makes very few mistakes. Threw for 3,031 yds and 28 TDs in final year of JUCO ball in a tough league. Recruited by San Diego State, Cal State-Fullerton, UC, and Arizona State. 4.6 speed.
Buddy Fuller QB 6-1 175 Lumberton, N. C. (Lumberton HS)*
Ranked as #4 among senior QBs in the state. Finalist for Mr. Football in 4-A, Conference MVP, All Region, All Conference. Another big time passer with escape ability. Threw for 3,292 yards and 33 TDs as a senior with a 65 percent completion rate with only eight picks. Chose A&T over Western Carolina, Wingate, WSSU, Fayetteville state and Lenior Rhyne. 4.55 speed.
L. J. Hill RB 5-11 190 Fayetteville, NC (South View HS)
Durable, steady, and reliable tailback who carries deceptive speed who ran for 1,300 yds and 15 TDs and averaged 6.1 yards per carry. Was an all-Conference Selection, and second team All Region. Comparable to former A&T standout Reggie Shuford. Passed on NCCU, Elizabeth City, and Chowan.
Sharrod Wallace RB 5-10 190 Wilmington, N. C. (Hoggard HS)
“Shake and Bake” type runner, very effective and elusive. Excellent breakaway speed. Ran for 1500 yds and 19 TDs. Noted for his ability to make people miss and had five runs over 70 yds last season. Turned on offers from South Carolina, East Carolina, and Wofford. 4.54 Speed.
Jeffrey Marshmon RB 5-10 190 Bailey, N.C. (Northern Nash HS)*
Ranked #68 in the nation amongst HS backs, ran for 1400 yds and 18 TDs as a senior, 1,800 as a junior. Had seven TDs of over 60 yards called back for penalties. Good tough inside runner with great acceleration who loves contact . East-West All Star. All conference, All Region. Led team to a 12-1 mark as captain of his team. Turned down South Carolina, Penn State, and East Carolina. 4.47 speed.
Frank Patterson RB 6-1 190 Gastonia, N.C. (Hunter Huss HS)
Patterson ran for at least 100 yards in all but the season opener to finish with 1,442 yards. Patterson’s best individual season helped guide the Huskies to their best record since 1996. "Shug," as his teammates call him, scored exactly 100 points on the season and gained 144.2 yards per game. That made him Hunter Huss’ all-time leading rusher with over 4,000 career yds. Very quick and runs a legitimate 4.4 in pads. Passed on offers from N.C. State, Clemson, Gardner Webb, and WCU.
J. J. Thompson RB 5-11 240 Greensboro, N. C. (Smith HS)*
Nicknamed “The Bus” by his teammates. A big bullish tailback who prefers to run over defenders. Impossible to bring down one on one. Very low center of gravity and great balance. Best individual effort was 261 yds on 27 carries and 4 TDs. All Conference, All County, All Region. Had a gaudy 7.2-yard average for a career Ran for 1268 yds and 16 TDs as a senior, 1800 yds and 18 TDs as a junior fullback. Turned down Hampton and Norfolk. 4.59 speed.
Robert Duncan FB 6-0 250 Winston Salem, N. C. (Parkland HS)*
All Northwest, Second Team All State, Defensive Conference Player of the Year, East-West All Star. Extremely versatile player, Can play offensive guard, nose tackle, linebacker, or fullback. Excellent lead blocker as a fullback and will be converted to that position in college. Had offers from App State and Western Carolina. Speed 4.9.
Doug Brown WR 6-0 201 Greensboro, N. C. (Ragsdale HS)*
First Team AP and Coaches All-State pick. Second in Mr. Football 3-A balloting. Ranked second best receiver in the state as a senior. Shrine Bowl, East-West All Star. Very physical wide out and return specialist, great hands with 34 inch vertical leap who put back to back 1,000 yd seasons . Developed a reputation for incredible grabs in double coverage. Caught 65 passes for 1065 yds and 11 touchdowns, returned 4 punts/kickoffs for TDs. Also doubled as free safety with six picks with 2 for TDs. All conference at both positions. Scored 90 points as a senior. Honor Roll student and Merit Scholar. Turned down Wake Forest and East Carolina .4.5 speed.
Anthony Maddox WR 6-1 200 Washington, D. C. (Roosevelt HS)
Another solid physical wide out with good numbers with 52 catches for 891 yds and nine TDs. Also doubled as a strong safety and had four picks and 39 tackles. Expected to compliment a very deep and talented receiving corps. Good speed and hands. Had offers from Howard, Hampton, and Richmond. 4.55 speed.
Brennon Clemmons OL 6-2 300 Wilmington, N. C. (North Brunswick HS)
Played at one of the perennially strongest 3-A programs in the state. Three time All conference , All Region, Honorable mention All State as a guard. 56 pancake blocks. Benched 400 pounds , squats 600 and will get bigger. Turned down East Carolina, Furman, and Florida Atlantic.5.4 speed.
Joshua Major OL 6-5 310 Washington, D. C. (Wilson HS)
All Metro pick, excellent pass blocker, very quick and is a true center and should fill in behind all-conference sophomore Kareem Sanders. Gives great size in the middle and good footwork. 5.5 speed. Turned down Hampton, Howard, Del State, Hofstra, and Villanova.
Chris Gates OL 6-4 320 Washington, D. C. (Dunbar HS)
Another All Metro selection from the DC area and projects as an offensive guard. Pulls well and had good feet and technique. Well coached athlete. Has the power and size to contribute early behind an already deep offensive line. Said no to Howard, Norfolk, Hampton, and Maryland.
Juan Joseph OL 6-5 320 Battleboro, N. C. (West Craven HS)
Big strong offensive lineman who came on late in his junior year. All conference as a senior. Graded out at 88% for the year. Great drive blocker. Unlimited potential. Will need to work on speed. Projected as an offensive guard. 5.8 speed. Recruited by all the CIAA programs, and Elon.
Brandon Sneed OL 6-6 320 Charlotte, N. C. (Olympic HS)*
Considered one of the best offensive linemen in the state. Second Team All-State, two-time all-conference performer, All County, All metro. Excellent pass blocker. Honor student. Was recruited by UNC, N. C, State, Wake Forest, and Duke .5.4 speed.
DEFENSE
Kelvin Haywood DB 6-2 180 Fayetteville (South View HS)
Doubled as a DB and QB as a senior but is slated for the defensive side of the ball as a prototype nickel back at free safety. Has excellent hands and great timing on his break to ball. Picked off seven passes and returned one punt for a TD. Recruited by most of the better CIAA and D-II programs. 4.59 speed.
Theron Thomas Jr. DB 6-2 180 Greensboro, N. C. (Dudley HS)
Was All Conference, All County as a senior, recorded 68 tackles, eight picks and 2 TDs as a senior. Excellent man to man defender. Strong work ethic. Very Coachable. Turned down Elon, WSSU, Charleston Southern, and NCCU. 4.55 speed.
Desmond Roberts DB 6-2 190 Lauringburg, N. C. (Scotland Co. HS)*
Top Free Safety in what was considered the best secondary in the state. 108 tackles (25 solo), seven picks, and 13 pass breakups, All conference, All Region. Good Student. Solidifies the A&T secondary behind All-America Curtis Deloatch with 4.54 speed. East Carolina was biggest competitor.
Jawon McBryde DB 6-1 175 Lauringburg, N. C. (Scotland Co. HS)*
Ranked as the #4 cornerback in N.C. had 74 tackles, All conference, All Region. 4 picks and blocked seven kicks, teams threw away from his side nearly all season. Second Team All State , Headed for the East-West All-star game. Spurned several D-1 offers from both ACC and Conference USA programs. Opted for A&T over UNC, N. C. State, and South Carolina. Incredible speed at 4.33.
Kevin Edmond OLB 6-3 215 Winston Salem, N. C. (Parkland HS)
All Conference, had a 72-yard fumble return that put the Mustangs into the state championship game. 77 tackles, three picks, five pass break ups. Has speed to play strong safety as well. 4.6. Offered by Norfolk, WSSU, and Hampton.
Kevin Middleton OLB 6-3 215 Winston Salem, N. C. (Parkland HS)*
All conference, defensive MVP in the state championship game, led team in tackles with 112. Big hitter, runs well to the ball, and great pass rusher. Drew interest from James Madison, Wofford, Richmond, and Western Carolina. 4.6 speed.
Chris Billingsley OLB 6-2 210 Greensboro, N. C. (Southeast Guilford HS)
All Conference, All County, three year starter who led his team in tackles with 104, Very fast and also played fullback for the Falcons. Should supply good depth in young linebacker corps. Was given attention from the Citadel, Elon, Catawba, Gardner Webb, and Wofford. Good speed at 4.6.
Chris Short ILB 6-3 230 Raleigh, N. C. (Southeast Raleigh HS)
All conference, 98 Tackles, five fumble recoveries, three picks. Super senior year with five sacks. Has outstanding lateral movement and flies to the ball. Turned down Elon, Catawba, and Gardner Webb. 4.7 speed.
Shernard Shore ILB 6-3 235 Winston Salem, N. C. (Parkland HS)
Joins his brother on the same side of the football. Started at DE and recorded nine sacks and 54 tackles, and three fumble recoveries. May very well convert to inside linebacker in college. has the frame to had 20 pounds easily. 4.8 speed. Picked the Aggies over Appalachian State and Catawba.
Antonio Goode ILB 6-2 245 Greensboro, N. C. (Dudley HS)*
First Team AP All State, All County, Conference Defensive MVP at DE but projected out to be true linebacker. Rated the #3 overall defensive line prospect in the state. Uncanny ability to shed blocks and vicious pass rusher. Completely dominant against the run. Superb mobility and ability to run down opponents. Opted for A&T over East Carolina, WSSU, and NCCU. Outstanding 4.57 speed.
Sherrod Shore DE 6-4 250 Winston Salem, N. C. (Parkland HS)
One of five starters from the 3-A State Championship team to sign with the Aggies. Outstanding pass rusher with 80 tackles as a senior. All Conference performer. Will join his twin brother who also signed with the Aggies. 4.9 speed.
Brandon Reliford DL 6-2 295 St. Petersburg , FLA.
Another in the long line of the fabled Reliford family to attend A&T. Attacking, aggressive tackle that will contribute and challenge for a starting position almost immediately. Very strong, very tough, and quick much like older brother Len who was a two starter for the Aggies in 98-2000. Turned down FAMU, Bethune Cookman, and Central Florida. 5.0 Speed.
Christian Hill DL 6-3 300 Columbus, GA. (Shaw HS)
Considered a steal at the I-AA level. Heavily courted by Southern Mississippi and Central Florida. Excellent run stopper and strong push off the ball. Massive upper body strength. Benched 250 pounds over 25 reps. 5.4 speed.
William Paul DL 6-2 300 Compton, CA (Compton JUCO)
Rated the #4 JUCO defensive lineman in the nation, 1st team CJUCAA All America who blistered opponents for 136 tackles (48 solo, 25 for losses0 and 13 sacks. Impossible to block. One of the most heavily recruited JUCO players in the nation including Oregon, Oregon State, Washington, USC, UCLA, Wisconsin, Oklahoma and Texas among the big names . Opted for the HBCU experience instead. May very well start at tackle in his first game.
