This is above and beyond our normal contributions. For God sakes man we have lost Mens Tennis, rumor has it we only have two basketballs, and the baseball team had a car wash fundraiser on Murrow Blvd. Sat. (just kidding)

Guys in my opinion it should be vice versa, for very game they lose it should be $100.00, to really help the team. NOW who want to ride that train. I will go with $50.00, the most I can lose is $500.00!

How about $200 for each W or $100 for each L (whichever is greater)? That's my pledge.

I ain't paying jack schitt for a loss.
But can we make this a sticky? It's a good way to get some financial support for the team.
I'ma do the same for basketball, just not 100 bucks a win. Maybe 25 bucks a win.
By the way, my 400 bucks (I'm calling the two win season shot right now) is going specifically to the football team. I will e-mail Coach Fobbs and ask him where he specifically needs my pittance to go.
The same with Coach Eaves.

I see your point regarding this being a fundraiser and any money is better than none, but basing it on losses reinforces the negative.
If you like your pledge can be something like; TDs over thirty yards, FGs made on the road, interceptions, sacks, you make the call, anything but losses.

If I'ma do that I might as well resort to hundred dollar handshakes.
Victory has its benefits. Just one of them happens to be 200 bucks to the program. Considering I haven't seen us win a game since the Norfolk game a year ago I think it's pretty good compared to the alternative, which is nothing.

Are drinking this time of night, and don't discourage people who want give from setting their own pledge standards. I'm just trying to steer them towards positive criteria.
