I will take that bet. Dinner for you and the Mrs at any restaurant of your choice. You are on! As the sixth win should occur sometime in early November someplace warm would be nice. You ever heard of Juici Beef? It's a Jamaican fast food place. There's one in Ocho Rios I think. We'll need you to pay for a babysitter too. Start saving now...

No problem.
Just get ready to take me, Mrs. Thrilla and Xander to Shane's Rib Shack on Westover Terrace. We love that place.
I can not wait. That will help ease the pain of what is sure to be another miserable season.

A two-win season? You don't even believe that. Care to make a friendly wager on it? Six at a minimum. Win six games next year!!!! Dooms, you will have to get a new handle, 'Hoodwinked' I am just kidding, but six games, wow.

Wheels will find a pushover for game 1 Morgan’s losing staff Central will stink Winston’s a toss up Howard can’t get anybody eligible Norfolk’s a toss up Del State is falling apart Coastal’s probably a loser FAMU’s a loser SC State’s a loser Hampton’s in decline
I was thinking five but I figured the worst pessimist wouldn't take that bet.
Our defense wasn't half bad last year. If he improves the defense half as well as he did Morgan's, we're in the top 20. We're in the top 20 defensively we win three more games.

Dooms, we have no offensive line. Unless we hire that OL coach from Shaw I don't see us getting any better overnight. No offensive line = 41 yards total offense in the season finale.
And nothing in our recent decision making has shown me we are smart enough to hire that OL coach from Shaw.

Are you sure you don't want to wait until the staff is announced. The Bet: you pay $50 for the number of losses greater than two, and I pay a $50 for the number of wins, greater than two. Of course, this is payable to the University (department of choice). WSSU on the Road (L) Coastal on the Road (L) NSU at Home (L) Hampton at Home (L) Morgan on the Road (W) Howard on the Road (L) FAMU on the Road (L) BCC at Home (L) DSU at Home (L) NCCU at Home (W) SCSU on the Road (L)

Well today is January 13th and there has still been no official announcement of when the school even plans to hold a press conference to make an official announcement of its new football coach.

I wonder how the Recruting Weekend went with no official announcement? Any commitments? Any questions? Was it just Rags and Oliver hosting? Man that had to be tough if that's what happened. Anybody know how the weekend went and what's being said to recruits?

Dooms, we have no offensive line. Unless we hire that OL coach from Shaw I don't see us getting any better overnight. No offensive line = 41 yards total offense in the season finale. Despite no passing offense to speak of, a game plan that changed week-to-week, constant injuries, a coaching staff as cohesive as lubricant, a lame-duck coach, and one true offensive threat that possessed no breakaway speed, we still managed to run the ball effectively most games. We lost two linemen, one of whom played back-up d-line by the end of the year. I think not giving a rat's behind anymore and playing against a motivated team that held a FBS team to 17 points and had shut out the prior two opponents to us = 41 yards of total offense in the season finale. What part of Coach Lee ain't fin to pass the ball don't you understand? We can run the ball, he will have us running the ball. We have an effective stable of backs and a ton of linemen coming back. I think everybody taking my bet hasn't bothered to notice that. Oh well, y'alls loss. As far as the official announcement, did you just get here? This is NC A&T. Don’t you remember the big announcement that was supposed to take place shortly after the 2002 season? You remember, they called a big press conference and ended up mumbling something about Coach Hayes was fired and we were exploring moving to I-A? Sheeeeeeeeeeit. Sit back and relax. Enjoy watching women’s basketball. Leave football to those of us that care. I assume somebody with an uncanny resemblance to trues with a shirt that says NC A&T head coach (probably borrowed from Coach Small) will be there this coming weekend. That's all we need to know right about now.

Oh ok! For some reason I thought some recruits were in this past weekend.
I agree Dooms everyone here wants to keep blaming the o-line. No we weren't the greatest. But in my 13 years of coaching I have never witnessed as many injuries up front as I saw this past year. And it's funny how well we played in 06 and 07 and all of a sudden we are the worst o-line in America. When do you say Damn it had to be the scheme and injuries not coaching or players.
I'm a big fan of Good Defense and Running the Ball. You just have to score when you get in the red zone. The only thing we didn't do in 2007.
