Rumor has it that he may be the front runner.

Great won -lost record or not, I have very serious reservations about him and his character after the way he used Norfolk State, embarrased them publicly on their big press conference day by not showing up or even calling the AD and fessing up like as real man of his word should have.
He simply used them in a high stakes shell game to leverage a fatter contract out of Tuskegee.
I have real ethics questions with this guy.

He would be the last coach I would consider based on his credibility ( Norfolk State)

NSU must also share the blame. Why set up a press conference to name someone as your coach when you haven't executed a signed contract?

NSU must also share the blame. Why set up a press conference to name someone as your coach when you haven't executed a signed contract? Why? Because you have an agreement in principle, plus he agreed to be at the press conference before it was scheduled. Dude is at best a shade tree mechanic, at worst a shake down artist. Didn't he also lead Morgan St. on, and then suddenly have reservations about taking the job. This dude doesn't make my list, in fact he wouldn't even come up in the discussion.

he interviewed at SCSU....he didnt get it because he didnt explain how he would build a program.....he was all about winning games.....and bringing in jucos and transfers, but not much on building a program, academically, recruiting, etc.
I would beware of that in looking at him....he will win games....but will he BUILD A PROGRAM....
pough might not be the best X and O coach, but what he has done for our program is undeniable
that is waht A&T needs....more than to win games, to build a dominant program that will last for years.....

He is not what NCA&T NEEDS. For all the reasons listed and the fact that he did not tell his (future) assistants he was not taking the job. They showed up and he was in Ala. The man has no character.

He better not be a front runner! All hell will break loose on Wheels, starting right here with BDF!
