Wow, ...Brother....If Coleman keeps improving we will turn a few heads. It looks like we are rebounding better also. To me, this game helps us. I shows us that we should be playing these teams tight & win or, not get blown out....and really the MEAC should do better. This may be the break-out year for Aggie BB. Contrary to Ahhbigboy pronouncements, this team has the talent to win the MEAC, both regular season and tournament but they are missing a few things mentally to get it done. The Aggies need mental toughness; more game experience; and little more basketball knowledge of the game. This team has two point guards, several shooting guards, several swing men, two or three power forwards and two centers that can play. I made a prediction of 5th or 6th place but had to hold off on my predictions because of the practices but the team seemed to be getting the coaches' message after a few tougher practices prior to the first game. Today we will see if they can play back-to-back tough games with heart.

So you think a team that needs mental toughness, basketball knowledge, and more experience can win the conference. I see why Fobbs lasted. I will admit, that HAD to be a good showing for A&T to be in the game the way they were. I don't know how good or bad UNLV is, but it still shows that the guys were playing hard. The free throw percentage is unexplainable. I won't even get started.

i think this team might be better than a lot of us thought, including me. and my boy coleman finally put it together! what a sigh of relief!!
maybe he's more motivated and focused against top competition. whatever it is, i just wish he'd be consistent.
i've said from the beginning that "if" ej and coleman can play at an all meac level, we'd have a chance to finish in the top 5 of the conference. so far, looks like ej is well on his way to being more consistent and potentially an all meac type baller. alston has definitely stepped up and if coleman can continue to produce like he did against unlv, we may be on to somethin'.
maybe there's something to eaves saying this is his best overall team. i didn't see it, but "early on" i can't argue. unfortunately, eaves' teams have a history of performing well against the big schools and then play down to the meac schools. hopefully that won't be a trend that continues...
