Anyone that is a true "performer" not just a dancer knows that your performance ensemble makes a statement. If the girls came out there looking like they do walking around the yard...whats the point?
Its just like Beyonce and Sasha Fierce! She said when she is on stage she becomes a different person...When they hit the stadium, they are different people. Its all about the fantasy...the persona...Hair is an addition to the routine. (again something a REAL performer knows) Like Chaka Khan, Diana Ross, etc. It was just as much a part of the show as their singing and movements. There are dances where slinging the hair is a count all its own.
Funny, we got NO COMPLAINTS from the fans on hair. One thing I have learned is that "HATE" comes in all shapes and sizes and colors...but you can still smell it from a mile away. Thats why we dont wear our hair for YOU. Have a nice day!
Season over...let the terrorizing begin!

Glad that yall are uniform with the hair these days. I remember back in the day, there was this one GDI (Golden Delight Individual) that decided to put red streaks in her hair. I was like WTF?!? She was still fine, but she stuck out like a sore thumb wit that 'urban' look she had goin on. But I like the Kentucky Derby look though....makes it easier to get shots like this:

The battle isnt a bad idea. I mean it would help BR get great unis for the next season and also for MEAC seeing as though its only in Winston it would be nice to see them there. Ladies what if you dont think of it as a war maybe as a exibition or maybe an recriutment event. We all know both squads are talented and rep Aggies well but hey sometimes you gotta give the fans what they want and they want is BR & GD, in uniform, on the same floor! I know I went kinda hard on BR earlier but I do have serious love for the girls and I want them to get the same type of love GD gets, but like I said its just has to be some "CHANGE" isnt that what we voted for people. A little Mac, Maybelline, ok you ladies dont have to do the weave but you gotta do something maybe just a simple bun, its looks very appealing and elegant on dancers. Uniformity is always a great visual effect.
