A NSU fan on the MF board stated that bdv.com article was a hot item on their campus. Here's a portion of his post,
"...The blue death letter didn't help A&T either, it was all over the place and the team and coaches took it personal. I haven't seen NSU that pumped about a game in several years "

I'm glad they are reading this website. I hope they come back and buy some bludeathgear when I get the online store by up and running. Me and Craig put a lot of time in writing that stuff so I am glad to know that it makes an impact.
BTW: I can't speak for Craig, but if I had a chance to go back and rewrite my article on the front page, I wouldn't change a thing. Everything that was stated was based on historical fact and sound analysis.

In last Friday's column, I told everyone how NSU could win and how we could lose. Unfortunately our coaches and players took my advice and did just that in losing.
I make no apologies for my column.

Or maybe Small & Co. will take some of that same fire that NSU got from this site and instill it in the team and the staff.
I wouldnt apologize either, Aggie One. I would love to see how the staff or the team could justify being mad at anyone but themselves. At least NSU knows how to find some fire, which is something we have failed to do in the past 5 weeks.

That article caused our defeat? Please! With all the junk and smack that has been talked on the MEAC page for the past few years, NSU should have been fired up enough to win the conference 3 years in a row.
The truth is, they finally won a dang game against us and want to throw the article back in our faces, which I can't really blame them. It's called making us "eat crow" and it's fun to do stuff like that. Had we beat their butts like expected, no one would have even mentioned the article.

Doomsday, what would you had written for the pregame article- that NSU and A&T were evenly matched and this was going to be a dogfight? If so, that would not have been accurate based on the stats and historical data availble. People would have pointed to the series record between the two teams and doubted your credibility.
Its easy to sit and critcize me and Craig for our pregame articles, but at least we took a stand and expressed the sentiments of A&T fans everywhere. We used facts and sound analysis to support our views. NSU had lost 13 straight games and any team worth their salt would be expected to beat them.
You, on the other hand, just like to badmouth the team and sandbag. Grow some nuts and start calling your shot before the game for once.
Its easy to be a post-game critic.

So why are we not making this site restricted like the old MEAC Fan BlueDeathValley. Is it heathy to allow everyone to read our posted info?

We have a private forum on this message board which is only visible to official BDF members. If there is an issue that is considered top secret then we can discuss it in there.
I do not consider game previews and editorials to be top secret information. I am not shy about sharing my viewpoints with the public at large. The website is gaining popularity now because it has an edge to it that can't be found on A&T's athletic website or even the news and record. That is what fan sites do- they give the perspective of the common fan. The articles and weekly columns that appear on the main website are available to anyone who wants to read them.

Like I said, it's all in how you put it. I guess I was under the impression that this was gonna be a fan site as opposed to a sheeet-talking site. What would I do? The same thing I do in court when I'm arguing a case. I put the facts out there. And as I put them out there I put myself in the opponent's and client's shoes and make sure I ain't stepping on no toes. Used to piss off my old boss every time, but I won over and over again with it. I think it would help if you simply asked yourself "would Coach Small think of this article." Going into this game we were evenly matched, 13 game losing streak or no. Call me a sandbagger if you want but face it, nine times out of ten I'm right. If you want to question the nut size, who were the only two on here with nuts enough to admit that we sucked enough to actually lose to Norfolk? Me and Craig. Hell, I expected it cause I watched the team with my eyes open.

Craig said A&T would win 22-6. He did so because it was a logical assumption based on the facts.
You were the only one who picked against A&T because you are pessimtic by nature. I don't have a problem with that. Just don't criticize me for stating my beliefs that A&T was a better team going into this game and should have easily beaten NSU.
BTW: Please don't tell me about being right and wrong. If it was up to you we would never even have a BDF in the first place. I remember when you said that it was a bad idea to form a crew and come up with a name because it would send the wrong message to the other schools on meacfans and draw to much attention to ourselves.
