Heard yesterday the Deondri Clark is considering applying for the Head Coach position. What is your opinion?

Two days after clinching a winning season, Fort Valley State head football coach Deondri Clark has stepped down.
The school released a statement this morning stating that Clark asked to be reassigned to "teaching and staff responsibilities" and that he is likely to move to the health and physical education department and "play a key role in working directly with students" in the Division of Student Affairs.
“As we have discussed, I believe that I have contributed substantially to rebuilding the Wildcat football program, but I also feel that the time has arrived for others to continue that rebuilding process," Clark said in the release.
Vice President for Student Affairs Terrance D. Smith said in the release that the university agreed with Clark's decision and thanked him for his services.
Clark was 18-15 in three seasons at FVSU, taking over in the middle of summer 2006 when John Morgan was abruptly fired with a 22-11 record.
Clark also assumed the role of interim athletics director not long after, a position he gave up in September to concentrate on football. Sean Stanley, a special assistant to the vice president for student affairs since July, was immediately named the new interim athletics director.
Clark played at Florida State under Bobby Bowden, and was a graduate assistant at Michigan State and Central Michigan, an assistant at Benedict and Shaw and head coach at Shaw. He has a master's degree in sports administration from Central Michigan.
He has a career record of 41-24 in six years as head coach.
FVSU was picked to finish third in the SIAC, and the Wildcats ended in a three-way tie for second. The Wildcats were inconsistent from the start, a 56-3 loss at Valdosta State.
They followed a win at Clark Atlanta with three straight losses and four straight wins, including their only two wins at home. A 31-7 thumping by rival Albany State in the Fountain City Classic ended FVSU's playoff hopes, but they ended the season with a 15-6 win at Stillman.
Clark is married to Dawn Herd-Clark, who is a history professor at FVSU, and they have two sons, Deondri II and Donyae.
