When Murphy Hall was the cafeteria for under classman. When Brown Hall was for the Cafeteria for seniors. When basket ball was king, but the football players ruled. When home football games where at War Memorial. When Parliament/Funkadelic was the Homecoming show every year. When Zoe Barbee walked the Yard. When Scott Hall wasn’t divided in sections and you could walk from one end to the other without going outside. When Wheeler Brown was a freshman. When the Grooves got kicked off campus every other semester. When you knew almost everybody on campus, students, professors, staff, everybody.

When the MEAC Tournament was played at Duke (Camren Indoor Stadium). When the Aggie/Eagle (football) was also played at Duke. When we had coaches named "Big Ten", "Face" and "Bo Lightning" just to name a few. When we actually had big crowds at the A&T/Guilford College baseball games. Yes, we use to play each opther. We also use to play them in Basketball when they (GC) had Lloyd Free and M.L. Carr. When it was legal to have alcohol on campus. Man, that was a trip. "Rick" of destruction.
