When will he show some “AGGIE PRIDE “and apologize to our boosters, Alumni and fans of Aggie football? A quick note on the teams home page, or in the A&T Register, if that cost too much then why not send a blast email… something Just take some ownership / accountability and show some “AGGIE PRIDE”. Played for Bill Hayes (88-91)

He's not going too. You make a good point, he should put out a quick note to loyal fans, boosters and alumni AT LEAST saying that we should stick behind the "progress" of the program and not become impatient. Although thats a lie, it'd be a great PR move....

I too think it's a mistake to remain silent. An apology may be a bit to . . . something, but a request to for patience coupled with three or four bullets on how he plans to turn the program around and a request for financial support couldn't hurts his current position especially with the casual fan and Gator ;D ;D.

Is it too late for him to issue an apology? I know it’s too late for Dee Todd to issue one for hiring him, but last I heard he still has his job. For me personally, the apology should have been issued after the first season.
What upsets me is my alma mater is the only school in existence that would make such a foolish hire and then allow him to continue to coach despite his record. Grambling, Fobbs’ alma mater, would not have kept him past one season, no matter the cost. We didn’t even bother to keep Small past three years and we are Small’s alma mater. Say what you will, Small was a better coach than Fobbs. Why is a Grambling degree worth more than an A&T degree at A&T? Remind me to NEVER work for A&T in any capacity because clearly the degree isn’t worth at lot at 1601 E. Market.
Well, I’m going to issue an apology. I apologize to Coach Fobbs because from the moment he was hired I did not believe he would be successful. Granted, I also didn’t think he’d be this bad, but I refused to support his hire because I felt that history and common sense showed that he would not be successful. I’m sure that didn’t help. I also apologize because although I’ve never met him, I have a strong distaste for seeing him associated with my alma mater in any way, shape, or form. He’s probably a very nice guy. Most people I know who have met him sincerely like him. I see him and all I see is yet another loss. Lastly, I apologize to his family. Aggies can be rough on folks. I once sat with Coach Small’s wife at a game and dang near had to play bodyguard. I understand Fobbs has a wife and young daughter, and I’m sure they have to hear and read the constant berating concerning a good husband and father. Rest assured his inability to succeed at A&T as head coach has nothing to do with his ability to succeed elsewhere. I for one would just rather see him go elsewhere and get started on succeeding as soon as possible.
Whatever happens I hope A&T has learned a valuable lesson from this. You should only hire somebody that’s achieved what you are trying to achieve, and you shouldn’t base that hire on whether the dude’s skin has melanin. Coach Bibbs is a winner, and she wins. Coach Hayes was a winner, and he won. Coach Eaves was an assistant, and he’s half. Fobbs was continually a position coach on a number of losing teams, and he continually has a number of our teams in the position to lose. Whether we plan to keep Fobbs for yet another year or two or three and make excuses for him or not, we need to understand that basic premise.

When I first joined BDV, I had a post that fired everyone up saying A & T is a substandard university. It was poorly expressed, and I admit that, but THIS is, in essence, what I was saying. It's plain and simple whether you like it or not. Sorry.

Dooms' summarization of Fobbs sounds like some people's summarization of our country's current president. damn
