WHAT TIME IS THE PRESS CONFERENCE TO ANNOUNCE FOBB'S FIRING TODAY??? I KNOW THERE HAS TO BE ONE SCHEDULED, IF NOT I NEED DEE TODD OR WHEELER BROWN'S HEAD ON A PLATTER!! SOMEBODY'S HEAD HAS TO ROLL TODAY. I DONT WANT TO SEE A PRESS CONFERENCE NEXT WEEK, I NEED IT TODAY, NO LATER THAN 10AM.
HOW DID FOBBS GO WINLESS IN HIS FIRST 2 SEASONS. ITS OBVIOUS HE DOESNT HAVE ANY PRESSURE ON HIM, BECAUSE THEY GOT BEAT 51-7 SATURDAY COMING OFF A BYE WEEK!!!!! THAT MEANS HE HAD 2 WEEKS TO PREPARE!!!! I VOLUNTEER TO CLEAN HIS OFFICE OUT TODAY. IM CALLING FIRST DIBS ON THE PS3 THOUGH, CAUSE ITS OBVIOUS THATS ALL HE DOES IS PLAY VIDEO GAMES TODAY.
DOES ANYONE HAVE THE FAX # TO A&T'S ATHLETIC DEPT?? I GOTTA FAX MY RESUME IN FOR THE FOOTBALL JOB. I KNOW I DIDNT PLAY FOOTBALL PAST MIDDLE SCHOOL AND I HAVE NEVER COACHED FOOTBALL. BUT HEY I WOULD FIT RIGHT IN, I WANNA STEAL SOME OF THAT GOOD MONEY TOO.

Co-worker justed walked away from my desk asking the same question. "What day yall firing Fobbs this week? I'm a Central alumn but I've always respected A&T's athletics and they cant keep this guy after 0-22. That would kill yall recruiting."
I just calmly agreed.

YOU MUST BE WHEELER BROWN TO ASK THAT QUESTION. SOMEBODY'S HEAD HAS TO ROLL. IF THEY DONT WANT TO FIRE FOBBS, THEN DEE TODD OR WHEELER BROWN AKA JERRY JONES MUST GO!!! SOMEBODY.

I am one of the few that feel he has yet to be given a full chance and next year will be the litmus test, ( partial recruiting and one full spring) I do not know of any alternative, he has a sprinkle of his recruits and the team did improve in a conference that many said as a whole has improved, the blowout Saturday was just another pie in the sky shot SCSU was taking a at-large-berth, in the end we (MEAC) place one team in the playoffs and all others go home like us. If we can't accept this then we need to address all problems with the school, for instance if we go out on a limb to play a school only for them to disgrace our field and fans then let's address that too. If we have a solution and identify the funding and source I would be happy to lend my support other than that give him his chance, or pay for someone new, I don't know if this is a serious post or many of you have fail to read some of the information in CT's column and other info, help me out

vite..., he has gone 0-22. He has not won one game in two years. What do you think? Do you really think that's acceptable? Under any circumstances?
No NCAA penalties. Increased salary and budget over his predecessors. He has had 22 separate chances to eke out victory and has not managed to do it once. Only a “substandard” university would make excuses to try to cover up the obvious. Norfolk State fired their own alum after two years, and he managed to win some games. He also didn’t have the budget and pay Fobbs has. Hell, we fired an alum after three years to hire this guy. How many more losses does he need to provide to prove to you what many already see? Because his track record says he’ll give you as many as you need to see. He’s already given you 22 in a row.
Not one win in two years and "he has yet to be given a full chance." All he had to do was win. Not once in 22 games has he bothered to do it.

Viteblufifall80,
I have to agree with Dooms on this one. Look at what Hayes did during his time at A&T...he got fired. Small...fired.
Fobbs hasn't won a single game since he stepped foot on campus. How many chances does he get.

Right, isn't that what got us where we are now, keeping up with the W's, Hey I was feeling Small-Ball , the hive and then some, but, I try to be positive and a realist, This is one of the few times since graduated, I witness a WR running for SGA, head coaches in the classroom when the players to arrive- thats the good part, so I feel -the losing- its unacceptable, you are right, but we have committed to this and must do our minimum sentence on this--like fed-time (h@###l, I willing to say Small got three, you get three, but right now is not fair) ), again if you have the quick fix and the chips to cover I feel you, please give our young Bl#$%K men some credit, the level of player we are recruiting doesn't worry about W's or L's as far as their choice of schools in the MEAC, if they are serious about their education, I don't see where we have no choice or money base on my source of info, let the man recruit, may not be bad to spend a moment or two with the guy and even our players, NOBODY LIKES TO LOSE-point blank

That is the worst list of postives I have ever seen. If that's the best argument Fobbs can make to save his job, he's a goner.
BTW: There's no guarantee Garth will be eligible (he still has to get through this semester and the spring).

Oh and i forgot he is in the MEAC!!!!!!!! 1 win is not hard. Its not like A&T is playing SEC or PAC-10 schools. I didnt see Oklahoma, USC or LSU on the schedule. This cat lost to Prairie View!!! I hate to question your logic and credibility but you leave me no choice!

(What he said!)
This is what he said!!!!!!!!!! 1]the red shirts line men 2 the incoming recruits, (remember the athlete we are seeking must be a decent student, we have adequate level of facilities for our conference, plus Strength Coach) 3 it is the coach's third year with players in his system 4 Shelton is a good student, i feel he will be better just from taking rep's with the first string 5 if Garth comes back- provide a go to in the red zone, our performance in that area, was poor due to quarterback and no go to person 6 herb has a strong heart and I feel he will change roles and become a more effective offensive weapon 7 not sure what the Chestnut(QB) kid brings to the table but he apparently went red, comes from the Va area--need comments 8. recruiting depth on the DL and LB
