If you read my previous post (8-3 Are you crazy?), you already know where I stand. It seems that we have a lot of people out here that accept the state of A&T athletics as being just fine.
From the supporters: I want to know the top 3 reasons why you think everthing is on the up and up.
From everyone else: I wan to know the top 3 reasons why you know we are in trouble for a long time to come.
This should be fun.

haaaaaa
Honestly we could get 6 different posters from this site and coach the A&T football team. We couldnt do any worse! At worst we would be 0-11! Why is Fobbs still there? Its not like he is in the SEC. Look at Butch Davis, he took over a struggling program and is competing in the ACC in his first year. Granted its UNC but they are competing. A&T is not competing. I cant go into my job on Monday mornings without hearing jokes

If you have read any of the past post on this site you would know that most BDV members are not satisfied with the state of A&T in general, not just athletics.

I get the jokes as well. I work in Winston so i'm always getting grief from the WSSU faithful. ...................it's just painful at times. I'm even getting joked by the ladies on my job who do not care a lick about football but all they know is that A&T is 0 for something since 2005.

As long as Herb Miller is on the roster we will be down, just cut him and everything will get better

As long as Herb Miller is on the roster we will be down, just cut him and everything will get better I see Herb Miller gives you heartache! I don't dislike the guy, I just prefer Shelton in there at QB. To be honest, they are both in need of a good QB coach. Herb's biggest downfall is, he always tries to make something out of nothing!

I've got people in my office calling me O'fa. I've been kind of hard on Fobbs, but I kind of hope he stays one more year. I'm going to Vegas and putting my life savings on another winless season. With my luck, he'll probably do something unreal, like go 8-3. lol

I see what the real problem is. It's the fragile egos we have when our team isn't doing well. If we really had AGGIE PRIDE, we would laugh with them and say this too shall pass and move on. Hell, make up your own jokes. That's what we had to do with basketball the last few years.

The reason everybody is on us so bad is because we're A&T, and everybody hates us! Like you say, you have to have AGGIE PRIDE and laugh with them.

I can't quite feel the 8-3 without getting thru the recruiting seasons, we have enough pieces to win in the MEAC next year, the top teams will lose critical elements, so 8-3 not off your rocker, i honestly feel a 6-5 season depending on our non conference opponents, I don't have three things but feel if: 1. Players are retained and maybe some of the late players that didn't make it academically come back (Garth for one) 2. Both quarterbacks (I wonder about #12 from tidewater area also) come back and improve at the same rate as last off season 3. Some more OL & DL players to give depth and move some of the red-shirt guys from the skill position to special teams in the spring
We are 0 fer and other than jokes its nothing, if you are not in the playoffs what do you have, we play in a winner take all conference, maybe an at-large bid, the attendance is suffering right now, but scary enough its better than some of the winning teams, so I feel that a 6-5 season regardless of scheduling is do-able. After reading so many threads, it is clear than the losing is hurting attendance which is the cornerstone for $$$$ in our program so we must win and I believe it can be done, I realized we didn't we win a game yet or maybe this year, but there were several winnable games and I must admit after last year I will take an 0-fer season like this one any day, unless you live in a vacuum you can see which way the team is heading and all major contributors are heading back next year, DC from Clemson will be healthy also, SCSU expected to win MEAC now NSU or DSU will probably win, who had NSU in the mix, so MEAC is no big deal to win in, we need a team that can compete out of the MEAC, we have competed this year not won, last year we didn't compete
