I haven't checked any financial reports but I guess that SC State's alumni give a great deal more to the program because their homecoming tickets were $25.

From what I understand we give more to our athletic department than any hbcu. I believe it too.
Sadly, we only gave around 125 k last year, yet we're running laps around our hbcu brethern's ahtletic booster club associations.
125 k is like 10 out of state scholarships for one year.

SCSU is the only state supported HBCU in the state of SC. And it is the same for FAMU, they are the only state supported HBCU in Fla.
