ISP Homecoming Celebration in Downtown Winston-Salem - Thursday, August 16
In just a few weeks on Thursday, August 16th, Winston-Salem will become the center of the college athletics world with the ISP Homecoming. This event will bring athletic directors, basketball and football coaches and other sports industry leaders from across America to Winston-Salem to commemorate ISP Sports' 15th anniversary and the company's new headquarters and national broadcast studios on Trade Street. Founded in 1992, ISP Sports now works with more than 50 universities, bowl games and athletic conferences.
The event will be host to a number of community activities in downtown Winston-Salem, including a once-in-a-lifetime parade of bands, cheerleaders and mascots, starting at 3:45 p.m. through downtown along Fourth and Trade Streets. Marching bands include Ohio University, NC A&T and Winston-Salem's own WSSU. Cheerleaders and mascots will represent more than 25 colleges from across the United States and include the UCLA Bruin, the Auburn and Clemson Tigers, the Virginia Tech Hokie Bird and of course the Wake Forest Demon Deacon!
