#122
I guess that's mainly because we've only signed two players.

#122 is very good for an MEAC school.

We should have a better recruiting class than App State.

These overall rankings dont make sense at first glance. How is Georgia (61) ranked so high when they only recruited 1 player, and quite a few teams below them have multiple recruits, with there best recruit better than UGa's only recruit

I agree. Furthermore, why does it matter where we place anyway? Isn't the whole team (that torched the MEAC) returning next year??? Except for 1 player I think. Why does it matter?

If this women's team come back next year and play just like this season they may not win the conference. This team has to be better next year than this season's team. Getting better will greatly make the ladies the odds favorite to repeat but they must get better as a team. Remember the men's 7 seniors save one did not improve their game thus they get the same number of wins but ends up in 5th place. Of course the ladies only loss one game and is returning with a stronger unit than the men had.

WBIH ( WATCH BALL IN HANDS ) the bigs for the ladies need jump hooks with either hand in their arsenal... it's a shot you can release over people taller than you are... which would eliminate kids getting freaked out by playing taller teams.... strength training is another area we need big improvement in... it's hard to manuver when your opponent is srtonger than you are... but now our strength coach is the def line coach... so instead of our bball teams getting stronger during the off season... we will be weaklings again... so much for improvement... has anyone figured it out yet... your preparations during the off season effects what type of season you will have... if we expect to win the meac... the work towards that goal starts now & in the weight-room...!!!!!!!!

A recruiting class of 122 is not bad for the MEAC. In fact, I believe A&T was the only MEAC team on the list. The women's team appeared to "peak" too early this past season. Also near the end of the season the starters appeared to be a little tired compared to the other teams. I would like to see more bench players in the game when we're beating teams by 30, 40 and 50 points. Let the "stars" get some rest and keep them fresh for post season runs. Tierra and the post player are both decent players, and if the post is physical and can score, should be of some benefit. No offense but we also need some consistancy in knocking down the outside jump shots, in addition to cutting down the turnovers, working on ball-handling, rebounding and strength training in the off season. (A lot of teams/players stay at school during the summer and go through workouts in preparation for the upcoming season) Defense did let us down in post season, but as I said above, I believe our players were just worn out/tired. Now that the women got a taste of the championship and post season look for them and the coaches to be prepared for the 08-09 season.
