Looks like he is about to be fired by Indiana any day now. Do you think he would come here for the peanuts we could pay him?
I don't think any of the majors will ever touch him again, especially now with the back to back NCAA major violations.
We should offer him $200,000 and see if he bites.

(We should offer him $200,000 and see if he bites.) I think he'll go for that, Sampson was born and raised in Lumberton N.C. I used to talk to one of those PRETTY lumbee girls, she told me about him..

You might get him cheaper than that if he gets Bozeman's sentence, but then you'd have to wait eight years. Do you believe that he did everything he is alleged to have done? All those calls? He could not have been that desparate, because he has a smoking team this year. Ah, the pressures of certain programs will make you think about cheating.

Thrilla will love this, this idea of contacting Sampson did enter my mind yesterda but I also thought A&T should have contacted "Tark the Shark" a few years ago, too. So, you take my opinion for what it's worth. ;D I thought Sampson would have been a good fit for NC State before they hired Sidney Lowe and the previous coach but they did not go after him.
A&T wouldn't hire Sampson because there would be too much paperwork involved if Sampson gets another NCAA penality. A school will have to petition the NCAA to hire Sampson and Sampson will be under NCAA restriction to not call a recruit for at least two years (my opinion). Sampson was under this restriction for one year at Indiana and it appears he couldn't keep his hands nor his voice off the phone.

The same place that $300,000 came from to boost the football budget this year.

He'd be in the NBA scouting or coaching in the NBDL before he would lift his finger to open a letter from T.

He'll probably head to the NBA as an assistant.

And where is that? It seems that those who spent that much on football are interested in only football. If you got coons cuttin Eaves and everybody else's budget for fottball, how you figure they'll give 1/10 of $300,000 to b-ball? Give Eaves $200,000 for b-ball, or at least let him keep the guarantee money, which also goes to fottball.
Also, Eaves is doin fine.

That additional $300,000 came directly from Battle. Nobody's budget was cut to pump that money into football.

Does the guarantee money go to the university's general fund or to the overall athletic budget? 75% should go back to the basketball program.

Kelvin Sampson needs a part-time job as a tele-marketer so he can get this phone calling thing out of his system. In fact Kelvin should get in the phone-sex industry since I think the phone is Sampson's fetish.
