Why bother to even have a Blue -Gold scrimmage? Remember, this was just a practice that is opened up to the public and played with referees. If you notice, the team is in practice gear. It was not a blue-gold GAME. It was not billed as a game it was billed as a SCRIMMAGE. They would have scrimmaged whether fans were there or not. Now, could it have been put on as a game? Sure it could have but it wasn't.

It didnt need to be standing room only....!!! It was exactly what it needed to be.. oh yeah.. add an additional 35 fans to the side behind the scorers table.. all of which seemed to enjoy themselves.. Wait, your boy tried to legitimize it like it was a total success or something. There were about 60 fans total at a division one program's basketball tip off and it was a success because... everybody seemed to enjoy themselves. Damn. We can't even be totally sure that the five dozen folks actually enjoyed themselves. Somebody just dropped the ball and somebody else is helping them hide it. There weren't even "2003antfans" in attendance. It might've been better not to say anything at all.

I don't know why antfan2003 feels so compelled to defend this fiasco. Either he is on the school payroll or he is related to someone in the athletic department.
But hold up. This is the same guy who was bashing Dee Todd not too long ago.

32 fans in a 4,000 seat arena ..... exactly what it needed to be. LOL!

Hmmm... wouldn't conventional wisdom have the blue team winning? How did they lose by 15?? With Hernandez, Wills, and Ewing, (three probable starters)... it seems like they should've won that one. What happened?? Were they pounded by the gold team's bigs??

Has anybody ever eaten at this restaurant? I hear the atmosphere is nice but the food is pretty pricey.

Has anybody ever eaten at this restaurant? I hear the atmosphere is nice but the food is pretty pricey. Ate there at Valentines day several years ago. I'll never forget it because my ex-girlfriend was our waitress. I had no idea she worked there. I immediatly asked for another table cause "the air conditioning is blowin directly on us", LOL. Oh, your right about the atmosphere. The prices are on parr with other restaurants though.
