This will be a very, very good team! The fact that there is depth alone wins 3-4 more games than last year. Could be a 20-win season.

This is the team that Bibbs said she would have by year three and dang if she hasn't gone ahead and done it. My hat is off to her. She is one hell of coach, a brilliant recruiter, and a genuinely nice person to boot.
I smell the end of Coppin's reign in the air!

Here's some info on a couple of the new additions to this year's team not yet mentioned here before:
Tyronnica Alford - 5-8 sophomore guard, transfer from UNC-Asheville Overview: A talented player who is use to winning...her high school team won four-straight state titles...brings a strong work ethic and desire to win to the floor...is a strong defensive player who has a good understanding of the game.
High School: Led Thomasville High to four-straight State Championships averaging 17.2 points, 6.8 assists, and 4.2 steals per game...was a first-team All-State performer while graduating second in her class...also played volleyball and ran track
Personal: Tyronnica is the daughter of Gloria Alford and Harvey Ray...she has three sisters, Toi 26, Alisha 18, Secilt 15 and three brothers, Trey 16, James 5, and Gabriel 3...intends to major in chemsitry.

Folks, in November this recruiting class was ranked #59 by Scout.com. This arguably could be the most talented basketball team ever assembled at A&T! If they can stay healthy I predict they will crack the USA Today top 25 next season.

Don't forget Nancy Rembert is back. She was on the roster last year but did not play. She was Connecticut All-State as a Senior in high school. She was also All-Region at her Texas JUCO and led her team in scoring, rebounds and steals.
