Expect some personnel changes to be made accomodate what Eaves wants to do by continuing to beef up his inside game. This is an unusual year where there are a lot of good available mid-major inside players with some size and scoring skills and he plans to take advantage of it because it won't be that way next year when guards and swing prospects will be in abundant supply.

My sources tell me that Doughty was officially offered this past weekend after a visit and should sign a LOI some time this week once a few internal things are taken care of.

Expect him to then sign one more player who will be a combo guard with size with outside shooting skills.

Opps, my mistake. It was the Aggie Pride spilling over in me. The shirt had "Crusaders" written across the top of the shirt. The picture of cap was at an angle where I couldn't read exactly what was on it. Since it is a blue cap, I would take a stab at it and say it had Riverside written on it but this is just a guess.

Please do not alert the NSA or NASA. I promise this is the last time I will use my micro-scopic powers on this board.

He has watched him a couple times in the gym. Future Aggie said he better than the big guys we have right now..(remember he is 9 so take that with a grain of salt)

Bigtime, I am just shooting off at the lip on this one. There is a local recruit, shooting guard, in Norfolk that Eaves was looking at also. There is an article of him posted on this thread. Eaves seems to have options this recruiting season which is a good thing.

It’s good to have options but it sounds like he needs money. Can't we find those 4.0 boys academic scholarships?

I know that this kid is being recruited by us, I don't know that the trigger will be pulled on this one because there may be some issues that will remain un-named...

He would have an easier time getting an athletic scholarship than an academic one. Even with a 4.0. Dollars just aren't there...

So it sounds like Doughty still might get a chance too play for us. i hope we get him.
If we do pass on him I hope he doesn't end up another MEAC school where he can light us up twice a year
