I hope there are as many Aggies in Raleigh for the MEAC tourney as there were here in Charlotte for the CIAA.

For anybody that's getting there early, the baseball team is playing NC State in Raleigh at 3 pm on Wednesday.

You can forget about that DECKS! People could careless about the games (other than alumni and loyal students). What seperates the two are the events. The MEAC doesn't draw nearly the same celebs and artists as the CIAA

I hope there are as many Aggies in Raleigh for the MEAC tourney as there were here in Charlotte for the CIAA. "Whacha talkin 'bout, Decks" I was in Charlotte. Man! can the CIAA put on a tournament and I don't mean basketball of course there were a few good games especially the men's championship. The white boy for Bowie State was a big disappointment. No ala 'white chocolate' in his game during the tournament. This was my first CIAA Basketball Tournament. One of the great things about the CIAA Tournament is there were some good free entetainrment for the masses. There were jamming free concerts sometimes going on at the same time as paid entertainment in Charlotte's huge Convention Center and during the basketball games. The clubs were packed at 3 o'clock in the afternoon! Of course every seat was sold though the butts were not in the seats. The people were in the concourse, lobbies and suites with live bands and DJs. MEAC basketball this year is much better than the CIAA basketball. I will be in Raleigh, Thursday, by the time the Aggie men's game starts... I hope.

The clubs being packed in the afternoon really surprised me. The basketball was OK, but the atmosphere was great.

The games are incidental to everything else.
