A very critical road win for the program. Much props to the team for getting it done when they had to.

Why does Eaves keep allowing anyone other than Rush to take the last second shot? Come on Thrilla, it wasn't Eaves, Nelson wanted to be the hero but he got his shot blocked. Yes, I was pissed when Nelson took his time releasing the ball and a Spartan blocked his shot from behind in the paint. Rush was on fire and I sure as hell would have perferred that Nelson got the ball to him for the last shot but we won, so everyone is happy.

Its a coach's job to tell everyone in the huddle that either Rush takes the last shot or all of you are walking back to Greensboro.

I would've preferred that Rush take that last shot also. Nelson clearly has a point guard mentality, but he's going to play a big role in the tournament. Rush is going to get a lot of attention from teams during the tournament. It seems to me that in certain situations Rush should have the ball at the top and let Nelson spot up at the three-point arc. Rush can then just create, draw the double-team and dish. I sure Eaves will make some adjustments for the upcoming Hampton game.

Was rush covered??? Sometimes you have to deviate from your initial plan. I'd take a shot from the free-throw line or from any high % area with the game on the line any day!!!
