I'm still disappointed. We clearly should have one this game. Turnovers, mental mistakes, and missing clutch FT's killed us. And it was on TV at that. We complain about lack of media coverage, especially TV, yet when the opportunity arises, we squander it. These are the moments we have to seize in order to improve perception and recruiting. Luckily it's still early in the season. I'm sure we will rebound.

You're right, we should have won.

The team has to forget about this loss. February is around the corner and we got to get ready for a run down the stretch. There are 9 conference games left (4 home, 5 road). The men are 5 - 4 and the women are 7 - 2 in the conference. We still have an opportunity to make this a special season. No more excuses. Let's play aggie ball and get it done.

This was a great game to watch on TV. We were down 19 and fought back. The crowd was intense and the game went down to the wire. There was nothing squandered here. Great publicity for the Dawg Pound and the School!! Now Eaves, go and get us a post player.

Does anyone have last night's game on tape or DVD? I will pay for it. Contact the SID. He may be able to secure a copy for you. You can also contact ESPN they may have a copy but it may cost $30 - $50. The announcers had a lot more excitement in them last night than they did the first time they came to A&T. They really pumped up A&T and if I was a Hampton Pirate I would have been jealous.

I agree a post man is needed but I think the Aggies lost the game down the stretch because A&T does not have a point guard. The Aggies were up by 5 points with less than 4 minutes to go and they could never settle themselves down to run their offense effectively while running some time off the clock.
I thought when Eaves signed Nelson that the Aggies had found their point guard but for some reason Nelson hasn't meshed with the team. Ewing is not a point guard. We need a point guard similiar to Del State's point guard where we can control the tempo.
Hampton has a very talented team. They also need a point guard and will need some shooting guards next year. I think the coach has that coming in next year. They will be a scary team next year. They are my odds-on favorite for next year. The Hampton coaching staff is made up of basketball junkies and hustlers (this is a compliment). They are very good recruiters from the head coach down and the head coach brings a lot of energy to that program. Don't sleep on Morgan State either. They are looking to be vastly improved.
If A&T wins the next two games they will be back in business. A&T's number one goal is to be in the top five when conference play ends. The Aggies definitely don't want to fall to 6th place because if they do, they will have to play four straight days to win the tournament tiltle.

The final outcome wasn't what I wanted, but the game looked great on ESPN U. The placed was packed. The crowd was into the game. The atmosphere was probably as good for recruiting as any win could have been.

I don't want to hear excuses. He told me before the season started that he had the team he wanted, so go out and win. During the Corbett era he won. home and away. The team took care of business.

I don't want to hear excuses. He told me before the season started that he had the team he wanted, so go out and win. Before the season, he had 30 more points in the person of Guions and Booker. This is and was a .500 team. Winning 15 games is a lot better than winning 6.

During the Corbett era he won. home and away. So did John Wooten at UCLA. That was 20 years ago. Let it go.
