With all of the recent hype, has anyone thought yet to put together a hightlight reel from the ESPNU games showing different aspects of the Aggie Fan Experience? We've seen snipets of this and that on youtube but you could probably put a solid 5-7 minute video.
BT, you do that kind of stuff right? You even mesh Homecoming into that. It could become a great recruiting tool for future Athletes and Engineers alike.

No, the only thing I've asked Eaves to do was to turn in his resignation. Just kidding.

Are you sure about "just kidding" ?? I would think that it might be difficut to get an assistant to compile those clips. Perhaps the media center or tv studio films the games for the coach. If so, that may be a great resource. The SID may also know if there is film available.

I already asked our SID for the ESPNU game tapes. He doesn't have them and really didn't know where to get them.

I assumed that it was an easy process also. I guess I was wrong.

Here's the response I got back from ESPN. It implies that the conference (MEAC) may retain the tape rights.
Thanks for writing.
ESPN, Inc. does not release or sell copies of its programming or promos. We generally only have telecast rights - not tape-distribution rights to things, which is why you sometimes see those disclaimers about exclusive rights belonging to XYZ league, conference, etc.
Sincerely, ESPN Viewer Response Team
