We must focus on:
Landscape Architecture encompasses the ar tful design, wise management and though tful planning of both manmade and natural environments. Landscape architecture projects ranges from intimate, detailed spaces to regional land-use and development plans. Core courses include conceptual design, plant materials, landscape history and theory, landscape planning, landscape materials and construction, planting design, graphics and natural sciences. The curriculum prepares students for an array of careers. Students learn to create ecologically sound and aesthetically pleasing environments that at the same time meet complex social needs

Just roll out the turf...
Plus, we walk paths in our quad grass (I know I do) so what are they gonna do? Rope it off?

If our grass looked like Delaware's I think less students would be inclined to walk on it. Plus you could put little signs up that say "please keep of the grass".

I mean its really not that bad...People all the time are talking about the cleanliness of our campus....Every morning i see the white guy out by Craig picking up trash and later edging the sidewalk. You also have to remember that we've grown alot and we have had to cut down some of the trees around campus....I think they did a good Job of keeping the trees in that used to be in the back of Scott Hall....I think we just complain to much...Nothing makes negro's happy. If its really that bad, dig up some of ya yard and bring it down East Market.

Basically, I'm a complainer...that's what I do, saying something is good is being complacent to some people.

It's not about being happy, it's about understanding what excellence looks like and obviously you don't. If you accept less than what can be achieved then that's what you will get. You have to train your eyes to see what it's looking at. We're not talking about trash, were talking about landscaping, green fresh and manicured. Look at the picture in this post and train your damn eyes to see your campus looking that way. The school's ad campaign says 'Expect More'. Then do it. I brought a Executive Vice President of our company to campus. I saw the look on his face as we walked by brown spots and straw and crap instead of bright green grass. There's no excuse other than us not thinking it's important. Aggiebred09, your blindness(and others like you) to the problem is the reason we're even in this thread. Is it better? Yes. Is it anywhere near what it should be? No.
