I was at the game on I-40 Rivalry game this past Saturday and the marching band seemed to be smaller than last year. The reason I say this is because last year's band had 14 sousaphones and I only saw 8 this year. Was everybody in uniform or was it scaled down for some particular reason? Did anyone else notice the size of the band?

They still have that great sound and precision routines.

That was hot! I hate I missed the live performance (marching in).

The small band with the big sound ! They lived up to that motto Saturday night.

It didn't do it for me. Proud Mary was a good idea in theory that just didn't translate into the performance. Plus I swear somebody was missing notes like crazy (take that observation for what it's worth considering my total lack of musical skill). I thought both bands were equally entertaining, which was not much for me. I was glad that they didn't resort to raping the ground or too much air humping.
Why do we refuse to march on and off the field?

Overall pretty good, but the drum sound was a little weak.

When you're at home the visiting band usually takes an extra two minutes off your time (9 minutes for each is the rule).

The only time I could hear the band was on the field at halftime.
