I was the only student in the press conference before he addressed the SGA, he is leaving for a job with the ACE in DC and rumor has it he is gonna be makin half a mil up there, I'll try and find my notes and all that but I just got back from the think tank and I'm kinda unorganized

You are right AggieMike, he wiil be making close to a half a mil, and in about a year he is to become the president of the ACE. This could be a good deal for A&T with Renick being in charge and making decision concerning all colleges and universities. I can see how A&T might benefit from this.

More power to him. I dont think any one can agrue with the idea of becoming a millionaire in your mid fifties. I wish him the very best at ACE. He is a one of kind leader. I sincerely hope who ever succeeds him follows in his foot steps by embracing the students first as he did when he came here in '99 and build upon the progress that he started here. All I can say is thanks Chancellor Renick for seven great years you gave A&T. We'll miss you.

Easily the most personable man I've ever met in administration. More approachable than my high school principal (unless I was called into the principal's office).
The man led the homecoming parade for goodness sake!
So much growth took place in the short time he was around campus. It proves that nice guys don't always finish last.
Good luck Chancellor Renick!!!! We'll have a beer when you get to D.C.
