This Deck has been long over due... PARKING DECK - $6.3M The rendering below depicts the new 500-car parking deck for NC A&T SU. It is to be located within the southern section of the Laurel Street parking area. The goal is to incorporate as many spaces as possible within the available project funding. The scope of work will include all integral security monitoring and parking fare control devices. The designer will study and make recommendations with respect to existing streets related to traffic usage during events, identify additional road improvements such as widening, lane identification, signage and signalization. My problem with this is that it looks like they are going to build it in the south lot of the new "400 car parking area". The current lot is landscaped nicely. I like the wide open look it currently has and would have had with the new clock tower.
Too bad they can't put this deck where they originally wanted it, across from Aggie Stadium. Wasn't there two other options?

I think this is going to be over there by the new tennis courts.

I think this is going to be over there by the new tennis courts. Nope. This is on the south end of the current parking lot. If you notice that's Holland Hall on the left.

This is good news. The campus is becoming more and more sufficient for students to get to class ON TIME! ;D
