Whew, glad WF is behind us. Pencil us in for 2007. Your a class act Grobe.
My head and heart are finally in synch with A&T. First time a Small team is under .500 and they quickly fix it on Saturday. To make a long story short, the important matchups favor us. We'll trade the ball in the first half and we'll take control in the 2nd.
A&T 31 Elon 14
Look forward to seeing Brian Cook, Elon's left tackle and NCAA-IAA Offensive Lineman of the Week.
No monotone webcast this week, CA is in da Valley!! Where we at BDF? ;D

I'm there. For the last 3 years we have had our best offensive performance against Elon. This year will be no different.

My heart says A&T 14 Elon 13
but my brain says Elon 16 A&T 13
I can see Elon putting 8 guys in the block and our QB rushing balls in the first half. I think our defense will score another TD in this game but I expect both defenses to control the game

Heart says A&T by about 40.
Head says A&T by a couple of tds.
Elon's really not that good this year. Neither are we, but we match up with them nicely and we might have a little more speed. That and a simplified game plan should help us tremendously.
Oh yeah, I'll be there, probably on the visitor's side with a gold pimp goblet full of "pimp juice"

Is it just me or does it seem that most of us are throwing in the towel. We've only played 3 games. We won a game we should have lost and lost a game we should have won. WF shouldn't even be factored in the equation. There is way too much football left to be pessimistic about our season. I'm expecting the team to really gel this week and stomp the $hit out of Elon. That's the least we can do after the beatdown last week. I know WF is I-A, but we can't let lowly a$$ Elon roll up in Aggie Stadium and wreck shop. I think the defense will limit them to one TD. That coupled with scores on defense and a sputtering offense equals an A&T WIN 24-7.

I'll be there, skinny guy on the away side with an Elon hat that also says www.elonfans.com on it. Anyway, my prediction is Elon 21 A&T 17 My thinking is that the crowd is going to unsettle the young team and young QB for the first quarter and a half. You guys will go up by a quick 10-0. Our team will settle down and score a TD and then the defensive bettle continues. We're not as bad as you've seen for the last 3 seasons. We're still a year or two out of what we were in 2000, but we are nowhere like what we havev been.

I forgot to answer the roll call. I'll be there! I have season tickets but I don't know the row number. I think I'm near the 40 close the the end zone where the band sits.

This is the first game since the 99 season, were the revolving QB syndrome will not be an element of the game plan.
The offense will start out slow the first couple of series, but will get to its feet towards the end of the 1st quarter and never look back. The difference being a QB that took 95% of the snaps, a QB though less talented (maybe), but appears to be more mature than the other two together, a QB that may not know the Offense, but understands it and will make better decisions than his predecessors. The O-Line’s body language is starting to get a swagger, they are first unit on this team to believe. The wild card on offense is the WR’s. Catches are contagious, but so are drops, this group is the only thing preventing a blowout. I can’t believe Elon has the speed or the height to match us at this position.
The defense was manhandled last week and Coach went public with his thoughts on that. The defense will have something to prove and unfortunately Elon is on the schedule for that come Jesus meeting.
Combine the above with the fact that “there’s no place like home” come on, say it with me, “there’s no place like home”, seals Elon’s doom for yet another year. I thinking something like 40-10.
I'll be in the last row (28) on the right side of the press box (sec w seat 18). Man, I might leave tonight for this game.

All of what we had expected will show up this week, and Elon will be the victim.

Yonnick Matthews was the difference last year with 4 long field goals. He's gone so expect this one to be very close.
