Great job WSSU, you've just moved up to D-1 and already you are showing you plan on being a heavyweight. I'm glad you decided to stick with Coach Blount, that move alone gave your program stability and credibility particularly with recruits from NC!!! kEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!

You got that right. The paper said WSSU will get $220,000 to play the game. I assume it will include all expenses for the team and the band. You probably got that right. An administration must watch their VIP list. It could eat up a nice percentage of that $220,000If not , it really is not that great a deal...It is their home game and assuming a reasonable gate of 50,000 to 75,000 net if, all expenses are not paid they will not get much except appearing on tv...and great fun for their fans I would think it is a great deal considering FAMU is not a must see game these days. The AD is rewarding his program with the peagentry of a bowl-like atmosphere that coaches, players and alumni won't soon forget.Essentially WSSU has four money games next season, A&T, Circle City Classic, Homecoming and NCCU. This is pretty good for a team that is not elgible for any championships for the next three years.

You are absolutely correct... How is the 2007 conference schedule going work now that WSSU considered a conference game (or are they)? I see DSU is not on their schedule, will all the schedules be absent one school next season, if so how is that determined? Have any other MEAC schools announced their 2007 Football Schedule? Del State is on their schedule. Everyone plays each other once.
