I'm still concerned about Clark. We need her (last year's version).

I'm still concerned about Clark. We need her (last year's version). i wonder why she sat out a couple of games? if it caused her to miss a significant amount of time practicing, then i can understand why she's struggling. if that's the case, it could be a "conditioning" thing. takes far less time to get outta shape than it takes to get back into shape. so without knowing for sure, i'm assuming its conditioning. however, i strongly believe that both clark and yarborough need to hit the weightroom and put on more muscle. that would help them "finish" in the paint while in alotta defensive traffic...

To me, the next game against Liberty is the most important game....we typically start slow but usually round into a contender in Dec...

Coach Rob said something like she hadn't had but 1 1/2 practices before her 1st game. I wonder exactly what that means...was it 1 1/2 from when they 1st started practicing or after she got over whatever it was that kept her out of the games she missed.

Robinson's MO. Does not recruit great shooters and average guards. He has been coaching too long not to solve this problem. He is average also. Longevity created his won - loss record to be decent. Only 3 programs in the state ahead of this “average” coach in the past 12 years and they are ACC programs. And he has the most championships. Some average coach. I guess this only applies to certain coaches. It be our own people. Regardless, he still does not recruit great shooters and great fast guards. That is why we were in the WNIT instead of the NCAA.

I think the young lady we have coming from Richmond County (NC) will put a dent in the "great fast guards" narrative. We'll see.

Bout time.
Not hating on Robinson but just stating what I see. Others may see it differently.

I might say he doesn’t sign fast guard and shooters. I can’t believe he doesn’t recruit them. We once had Bostic and App state transfer at ptg , both were fast but poor shooters. I thought the inj ptg is said to be quick, But she has yet to play… is she the Richmond county player or is that someone else?

The only problem I see with this team is , The play off the Bench . Coach Rob needs to get a handle on that ASAP .

I guess this only applies to certain coaches. It be our own people. Regardless, he still does not recruit great shooters and great fast guards. That is why we were in the WNIT instead of the NCAA. There you go with your assumptions. So now the team didn’t make the NCAA because of that. Those years they made the NCAA what was it? You act like the WNIT isn’t good post season. A ton of teams would want that opportunity. ODU, Troy and UNCG didn’t make the NCAA either. Is that because of that same reason? They had quick guards and shooters. Did he tell you that he “doesn’t recruit” shooters and quick guards? Like come on? That doesn’t even sound right. Some didn’t think the ladies could beat them with the matchups. Is it so hard for you to give credit to the team and coach? Like maybe he can actually coach and game plan for those same teams. Or the team is solid? 20+ wins in the same league others are struggling in and having success. Our ladies would have made the tournament with their full roster. It makes no sense responding to you because you just can’t get outside of yourself.
