He turned in resignation last week. Headed back to his native Florida to follow his passion with coaching and teaching high school kids. We wish him well.

We have time to attract another quality D-line coach, but I wonder if the state hiring nonsense will delay that from happening quickly.

Will this have a negative effect on committed recruits showing up on campus or has the deadline to report passed?

Hopefully we can get someone like him. Someone the kids want to play for. I never heard anything but positive comments. We wish him nothing but the best.

I'm sure coach Brown and coach JZ has a strong network of defensive line coaches that can replace coach Lang.

After the Chris Young disaster, Coach Brown does not get the benefit of the doubt when it comes to finding assistants.

I thought that he did a helluva job for us beating the bushes down here for talent. I’m a little surprised that he left to return to the high school ranks, though. But I wish him well and hope that he’ll still send guys our way. |
