That might be the case but I saw him get the ball taken from him pretty easily, bring the ball down so smaller players could take it from him, get abused quite a bit on the defensive end against post players. A better coach could have fixed this bad habit. Harry had enough skills to be coached up to play well in this conference. Harry definitely had D1 skillset. Maybe a better question would be how much can he contribute to the success of the team. Some players are starters while others are bench players. All teams need good role or high effort/energy players. Deep bench wins championships. Ask UCONN MBB.

okay, so you don't know. just guessing, which isn't a good idea cuz somebody is gonna take it as "gospel" and run with it. just me personally, i would "never" post anything like that if i didn't know "for sure". next thing you'll know, somebody will be posting on social media that a&t just signed a 6'11" big from greece, whether it comes to fruition or not. not good to speculate on something like that cuz trust me, somebody is gone run with it and if it doesn't come to fruition, there's gone be a lot of "disappointed" folk in aggieland. that's why i don't follow aggie "offers", don't like being disappointed if they don't accept. just let me know who has "committed", don't care about who gets offered...

But that's done with. Harry's happy where he is at University of the Cumberlands. They made it to the round of 16 before coming up short in the NAIA Dance . Harry 18 point 10 rebounds and 5 blocks and is returning for his final season in 2024 .

I did the same research and came up with the same player. He could be interesting. Let's hope for the best

one thing for sure, "foreign players" are catching up with usa players in terms of "talent". all ya have to do is look at the nba draft this season (top 3 outta 6 from "france") as well as the last 6 nba mvp's (nikola jokic, joel embiid, giannis antetokounmpo "greek freak").
jokic won it 3 times ('24,'22,'21), embiid won it '23, and the "greek freak" won it twice ('20, '19). all 3 were born overseas, though embiid went to college at kansas...

Yes. And Nick ( for us) showed some flashes. Idk about the proposed Roster for this upcoming season, but Coach seems to have loaded up with ball-handlers, and possible shooters. The delicate Dance for minutes will be interesting. We know that Lando can put up about 20 pts., but I dont think that he will dominate the ball as much, nor need to. I need to see the Roster in the coming weeks.

It's hard to believe that basketball season is a mere 4 months away!
I truly hope that our coaches are bringing in at least 3 athletic post players who can actually play the game of basketball as well as defend, rebound, score the tough basket in the paint, and bruise up the opposition's 4/5 in the process so we can win the quick game with our roster full of smaller guys.
We'll need them to offset the obvious mismatches opponents will create with the plethora of guards on our roster.

Agg E. - Do you mean bring in 3 more including the 3 and possible 4 we have already? I agree with OSA we have enough bigs if they can stay healthy. I think one center has been here 2 or 3 years and have not played in one game yet. Considering the past, it would be a miracle for that kid to stay healthy all season. LOL

In fairness to Murphy, he played most of last season with a torn MCL. He's much better than he showed. Tough kid.

Yes, thankfully it was a tear to the MCL and not an ACL. He had it operated late last season and is getting back into game shape this summer. He should be 100 percent by opening night.

Don't y'all remember (depending if you're my age or older) when GranMa/OtherMama/Granny told us "Boy, don't go countin' your chickens before they hatch!" This is Aggie Men's Basketball as it relates to our 4's and 5's. Here we are "SPECULATING" about a European kid MAYBE transferring in, with some of us on this board penciling him in as a "nice piece to the frontcourt puzzle with Thanos" Nah. I'll believe it when I see it. There's one kid who's been on the yard 2, maybe 3 years and hasn't played a game because of ACL tears. Then there's Thanos who was solid for us as a rookie. I'm glad to see that he didn't get poached through the portal, although it could still happen. The other big who played alot MUST get in the weight room/Gold's Gym/Moses Cone Hospital Exercise Room and get bigger and stronger. This leaves us with a vacuum and the necessity to bring in 2/3 guys who can play the 4 and 5. It's gotta happen if we are to compete in the CAA. EVER.
