Styles make fights, and right now Troy has the worst possible style for our Lady Aggies team to face in this tournament.
They can score points in abundance and we struggle on the offensive end. Hard to imagine us winning a shootout against them.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall in the coaches office as he speaks to his staff while putting together a plan for the upcoming game. As Aggies we over analyze everything, so Imma try to just sit back and let the game happen. I trust that the coach knows more than I do and will have the team prepared for our opponent. Troy got to hop on a plane and travel to an unfriendly arena against an opponent I'm sure they will underestimate like the two teams that we have already beaten. There are no weak teams in the post season and our ladies have been through the fire...if they don't come out flat and the coach puts together a good plan that plays to our advantages and exploits Troy's weaknesses we have as good a chance.

Troy is not underestimating A&T one bit. They lost to ODU and we beat them when it really counted. Both teams will be prepared. The question is whether they play their best on the court which did not happen last Sunday for either ODU or A&T. I doubt the pregame plan will be an issue. It will be which team adapts better during the game that will determine the outcome. |

I haven't seen us play but, I'd be willing to bet if we keep turnovers at a minimum, we can pull this one out. Also, don't panic if you get down in the game...just keep playing. In the words of Broadway, when something good happens, keep playing and when something bad happens, just keep playing.

I haven't seen us play ... It is some of the ugliest brand of offensive basketball you have ever witnessed. Our best chance is to rebound, force turnovers and score in transition. IF we have to play a lot in half court sets, we are in trouble. |

Part of the missed layup problem is just a simple lack of concentration. We drive to the basket expecting to get fouled ... and then just throw up a wild shot at the rim without even looking.

i think our ladies will be ready no matter what style troy plays. what it really boils down to is which team can impose their will on the other. i like our chances cuz we're playing in "clubcorbett".
shoot, i'm more concerned with the referees. will they let the ladies play or will they call a foul just for breathing on somebody? we've got to stay outta foul trouble and then let the chips fall where they may. goosh, but we need better 3 point shooting, our production is down in that area...
