They looked fatigued. Lazy passes and movement due to fatigue It wasn't fatigue as much as poor decision making and teammate/ player Court awareness. These athletes train year round and as much as we rotate players fatigue would be the last thing in my opinion. What I saw was misplaced urgency by the team ,by that I mean playing with pace and teammate awareness to cut down on unforced turnovers and unfocused mistakes. |

We fall off tremendously when Dorsey goes to the bench. We really miss Darks. Bracone can't run the point, too timid and no handles. The ladies from CoC were aggressive and physical and we got careless with the ball. This could serve us well for tourney time if we see them again. Neutral site will work better for us as I thought the officiating could've been better but was not the issue.

after clark made the "3", it was all up to our "defense" after that cuz we were up by 4 points with less than 60 seconds left in the game. even if we hadn't scored another point, our "defense" could've won that game for us. but we gave up an "easy" layup to coc which cut the lead to 2 points. then we commenced to turn the friggin' ball over which came back to doom us.
oh well, let's learn from it and move on...

Darks or no Darks...at this point Smith needs to step up her game ...she is a junior and should be ready to contribute in a meaningful way. Like Paris Locke, I believe she will contribute significantly as the season goes on.....i do see signs of that fact. IJS! |

One thing for sure ....we miss Levossie Taylor!
Willis was injured in the Louisville game falling on her elbow.....she may be gone for the yea, unfortunately.
I don't know about SKD.....haven't seen her on the bench lately at games
Robinsom's philosphy has been to give recruits a year to grow into his system without not much playing time, unless you are Tucker or Locke....not many freshman have received siginificant playing time but I may be wrong

I think a lot of the significant minutes or depending on the situation and need but all of this players are receiving playing time freshman's included. |
