At 12-6 we have the same record as we did last season at this point in the schedule. Unfortunately this is also where I felt like we started running out gas last season.
I think this team is better prepared as they are playing their best ball heading to CoC. Recent blowout wins have given opportunity to play more ladies. No worse than a split over the weekend if we want to keep pace with a very good Stony Brook team. I wouldn't be surprised if we won both comfortably.
Ladies must remember they were picked to finish in 8th place! 😉

All things will run through Dorsey and our ability to minimize turnovers.

At this point not sure who can relieve Dorsey. No Darks and I haven't seen a viable backup with handles enough to allow her to rest.

Keep yo head down and keep grinding Ladies... This is the part of the season where we separate the the women from the girls. We've been here before, and our ladies know the deal in this league. There will be no easy games moving forward...we know them, and they know us. Nobody is going to give us an inch, so we have to take it. They pick NCAT to finish 8th because the they expect us to fold right now...only thing we can do is prove them wrong.

I saw Bracone run the point for a bit, and Nahndi ( who was playing a “don’t do anything wrong “ type of game. ) C of C had a nice trap that made us take quick shots. We must make them pay by having Acox or Tucker being aggressive, with Clark following their shots. We should go down there with a Receipt. Now I believe that our Defense is better than it was earlier in the season. And Tucker, Locke and Acox have been going into their bags. To the main point. This IS a tough stretch. I think that A&T wants payback for Charleston.

I saw Bracone run the point for a bit yeah, i recall seeing bracone play some pg for us in spurts and she wasn't bad. but she's clearly more valuable as a 3 point shooting "sniper" at the off guard position...

Every season we lose key players to injuries. I guess when you practice and play hard, you expect some injuries. We just seem to be snakebit!

Yeah, as much as I like Bracone. PG she is not. She can spell a possession or two, but I don't think her handles are adequate and running the team is a different issue in my opinion. I'm just glad her stroke has somewhat returned. She gritty tho.

My keys are solid inside play (points, O/D rebounds, reduced fouls (Clark)) and endurance. If inside stats are good, our guards and forwards will do what they've done (three in double figures).
