Broadcast was great it may have buffered twice for a second or two. This is the best reception I have received from Blo sports in 2 damn years.

Agreed, pressure defense and picking up full court changed the game. Methinks Coach held that in the bag until late to save our legs. That’s a good look. I thought to myself that Drexel was running out of gas. Tucker and Acox made them work so hard. ( while they were concerned about Clark).

So my observation...
Drexel started lights out from the field, 1 of their guards hit about 4 jumpers in first qtr including a couple 3s.
Neither the coach or the ladies were fazed by this, and just continued to play their game offensively as we only trailed by 2 after 1. It felt like being down by 10 since they just knocked down shot after shot after shot. And if they did misses got offensive rebounds and 2nd chance points. We were not ending the defensive possesion with a rebound and it showed on scoreboard. I guess T knew they were going to shoot at such a clip for entire game (that's why they call it an avg, lol)
T was still playing our standard grind it out style, we are going to force you to play defense for an entire possession. You could begin to see in the late 3rd and then 4th qtr, Drexel was getting fatigued. All those jump shots that were falling early in the contest starting turning into bricks. During all this is when T-Rob deployed the 1-3-1 with Dorsey playing the back end and directing defense from their.
Once Drexel realized shots weren't falling tried to run some back doors and dives to get something going toward basket ans potential fouls, but that played right into the 1-3-1 as we intercepted those passes on like 3 straight possessions.
It was really a thing a beauty to watch it, defensively it was almost like the rope a dope. They fell in love with jumpers falling early and then couldn't score later once legs were tired and shots not falling.
Awesome job players and staff on well executed game plan and trusting the process.

Smothering defense in last quarter to fuel the come back. Sometimes it seems like the ladies play better from behind than with the lead?
