Proud of the team....the only concern I have is Shell. He really is our only PG. When he's out the game, our offensive production can get stagnant. We just gotta have our motion offense on point when he's on the bench. Shell's worth on the floor is invaluable. I like what I'm seeing from Chitakoudis. He is getting more and more comfortable with DI ball. He ain't cocky, but he is becoming more confident in what he can do out there. McKie is as pure a shooter as we've had in years. He's only gonna get better.
From just a month ago, this team has come a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong way!
I'm gonna keep saying it....Ross is a COY candidate; Glasper is a POY candidate.....if they keep on doing like this, they won't have many peers when it's time to vote for these awards.

We tried to Smoke 'em. Glasper pulled up from "30" on 'em. With a hurt Leg. Props to the Training Staff getting Him back.
I'm Really a believer in FT shooting now. Yall converted me. We hardly scored buckets at times but still held them off or increased the Lead. Thats winning like James Harden!
SuperStar, I know what you mean (above) about the PG. The Guys were gassed. Dukes can rush a little too much. And He is fast to the basket. But if He protects the rock and finds McKie and the rest of His weapons, we can give Shell some rest.
I hadn't seen Corbett remark to a potential "travel" so readily in a min. It got kind of Electric.
We look like we Belong...I love the growing Confidence. How did we lose to Elon? Smh.

I made it to Corbett today. I had to see this resurgence in coaching and fundamentals myself. I was not disappointed! Ross coached hard, players were prepared and the crowd is slowly coming back. Miracles still happen, I did not see the wins coming. This team is playing a high mid major brand of basketball with a group of unknowns and 0 stars with a 5 Star coach.

flosports ran local commercials to my city. I saw none for Grensboro.

at Delaware on Thursday at Drexel on Saturday Based on our recent performances, I believe we'll beat Delaware. We'll see how they handle being in someone else's gym. We came close to Drexel at home. We'll see how we do in their spot. |

Okay, let’s let both of our feet hit the ground for a moment…
We are entering the 2nd half of conference play, so scouting reports will be solid to contain & defend our guys. We are going to need at least 10/5 from Murphy & Thanos & at least 8/4 from J-Rob nightly as defenses will adjust to Glasper & Shell.
We need to get ready for gimmick, iso defenses teams will throw at us during the 2nd half. Those, OR the old school “We’re going to let Glasper shoot 40 times & make SOMEONE ELSE beat us” strategy.
In essence, the 7-8 man rotation Ross has settled on will either have to be sufficient OR he’ll have to expand it to 9-10 to provide bench support/scoring/rebounding & foul absorption. Remember…Glasper, Shell, & Left Jab, Jr all played late with 4 fouls.
We gon’ need that depth. If we can get it, we might be playing above .500 basketball when it counts & fool around and play meaningful games in March!

Did any Local Commercials run? Here in Jamestown ,which is a suburb of Greensboro ,I only saw the promos for A&T and other times the screen was blank and said event will return in anywhere from 1:30 to 2:30 minutes,for all timeouts .The break for halftime was much longer and they would come back just before the second half began ,no local commercials at all. |
