Team is good defensively but needs major improvement on offense. Totally lacking any dribble penetration. Only 7 assists. Smh

well, i didn't see today's game but i saw about 10 minutes of last night's game and i can tell you without any uncertainty after watching roughly 10 minutes of play last night that this year's team is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better coached than last year's team. albeit, coach ross has far "less talent" than last year's team.
but at least i saw "structure" last night that i "never" saw last season and its true that we have some good defenders on this year's team. we just need at least one legitimate "big" in the paint that can defend and score in the paint, that would make all the difference in the world!
i'm still not down on this team despite that they are "winless". i saw very good team defensive fundamentals last night, most of the time our guards kept the ball handler in front of them and whenever the ball handler got a step on our defensive guard, i saw the proper "defensive rotations" to help and recover. believe it or not, i think our team is "well coached" though i need to see more.
i need to see more of this team for an entire game, but i'm encouraged by coach ross. from my viewpoint, he knows what he's doing but he just doesn't have enough "talent" right now, especially not in the "post"...
