Damn I can hit 4 out of 20 with a bad hip. bum knee and a arthritic right wrist.
Seriously, we need to change leadership in the athletic department who know how to evaluate talented coaches who in turn can recruit talented players.
For the last several years we have used the excuse we don't have a Big Man. Tired of this excuse and when we did have big men our below average coaches couldn't coach them properly.
Excuses, Excuses, Excuses. When Chancellor Martin leaves the new Chancellor should clean the entire athletic brass out and start new. They are passed their time.
This is 2023 and our athletic department is still in 1999.

It will take the new Chancellor two or three years before they will feel comfortable even looking at the athletic department. So the new Chansellor isn't the answer. |

Hey this fight between the "campus gangs" vs the "Non gangs" has been way more entertaining than our sorry men's basketball team. Does anybody else have any obscure controversial points we can argue about? I need something to distract me until basketball season is over. |

But this men's basketball team will probably go down as the worst in school history. We play NCCU here next Tuesday and if we lose that one I dont see another win on our schedule.

Let that sizzle in your spirit. Why are we saying Robinson is our hope? Glasper is leading the team in scoring? Check out the pinned folders showing 2023-24 CAA MEN'S STATS. Yeah. True. But I look at it like this. Run the offense thru Robinson. Let everyone Cut, shoot, or rebound off of His action. Let him pass, make plays or try to score or get fouled. He was missing shots, they were tough, challenged but high percentage. A slow down game every possession. If it breaks down then put the ball in Glasper's hands. The Greek Young Man should do the same thing, or rebound. or Joyner. I would keep Robinson down low ( tough task), or run action off of him at the elbow potentially facing up against the opps. Let Glasper Close the game. Let him get his points via breaks steals ect. in the meantime. It seems like we fall apart if we shoot too quickly, too often. (I got to believe that we can shoot better in our own Gym). |

We play NCCU here next Tuesday and if we lose that one I dont see another win on our schedule. i dunno, got to be awfully bad to be our worst ever, though its possible. in 2003-04, curtis hunter went 1-26 and was let go. jerry eaves took over the following season and he went 3-25. both of those teams were "gawd awful", i saw them both play, unfortunately. but i haven't seen this year's team play a full game yet. even if this year's team doesn't win any games, hard to imagine there'll be as bad as those hunter/eaves teams. those hunter/eaves teams almost routinely got blown out by 50 points or more against teams like vcu and unc charlotte... |
