Terrible news for the young man and the team. What injury did he have last year and was it the same leg? We could not afford to lose a big man due to us being on the small side with so many guards. Is it too late to ask Harry to play for us if he stillwants to? I would not blame Harry if he said no thank you if asked.

He is on campus but has signed for Cumberlands. Injured at the moment and coach Ross made it clear he wasn’t wanted.

of all the players, he was the least we could afford to get injured. wow, really, really sad. perfect title to this thread, "when it rains, it pours"...

But I'm sure somewhere around here would find a problem with doing so. shoot, we almost have no other choice. if nothing else, we need a "big body" to put in the middle cuz we only have 1 other true post player on the team. problem is, we probably don't find a dude walking 'round campus who stands 6'8" or taller (preferably "taller") who can hold his own on the basketball court at the d1 midmajor level. that d2 center we picked up better get used to playing almost an entire game in "every game"... |
