I honestly feel sorry for Coach Hall.
He has to compete another damn season against some of the top mid-major programs in college baseball and his administration is making him play all his home games in a landfill.

Once again, jedi mind tricks work on you guys; not me. This is what Earl actually said about the staffing issues. They tried to fill some of those key positions but they were unable to close the deal. Now, what you did was gaslighting. If you gonna post the response, post the entire response. He clearly talked about Covid, budget restraints and hiring freeze BEFORE he said now we are at a place to start filling those positions.

He mentioned the hiring freeze … but then admitted that was no longer an issue and they have been trying to fill those spots but had been unsuccessful. I just added the part that you left off.

Dear Aggies, Thank you to all of you who took part last Thursday evening in the Fall 2023 North Carolina A&T Alumni Town Hall! The presentation shown during the Town Hall is linked here. www.ncat.edu/give/advancement/alumni-relations/alumni-town-hall.pdf There is so much happening at A&T, and I appreciate Chancellor Martin and other university leaders providing these regular updates. We appreciate your continued engagement on all the exciting initiatives underway at North Carolina A&T. One of many topics we discussed on Thursday was the search for the next chancellor. The newly created Chancellor Search Advisory Committee, chaired by immediate past N.C. A&T Board of Trustees Chair Hilda Pinnix-Ragland, will hold its first meeting on November 6. Committee members will begin to develop the timeline and process for the search at that meeting. In the meantime, we encourage all A&T alumni to engage in the search process by completing the Public Input Survey on the Chancellor Search website, available now. www.ncat.edu/about/leadership/chancellor-search.phpThe survey will allow you to identify the top priorities for advancing the university, A&T’s leading strengths, and the most important characteristics and qualifications you’d like to see in the next chancellor. It will also allow you to share the factors you think are most important for the committee to consider in this search. Please note that chancellor searches in the UNC System are subject to confidentiality requirements under state law. None of the names and personally identifying information of candidates, semi-finalists, and finalists may be made public, even after the search concludes, according to UNC System policy governing such. Conducting confidential searches is intended to “maximize the quality of the candidate pool by not discouraging the interest of individuals who would not otherwise apply in the event of a publicly disclosed candidate pool,” the policy reads, in part. It is closely connected to state law that requires certain personnel records be kept private. Though the names and personally identifying information of candidates in the search are confidential, the policy requires that the final vote by the UNC Board of Governors to hire a chancellor take place in a public meeting. We encourage you to bookmark the chancellor search website for the latest developments as the process moves forward. The Greatest Homecoming on Earth is just two weeks away, and we can already feel the excitement in Aggieland! We look forward to seeing you there and wish you a safe and enjoyable homecoming. Sincerely, Kim Gatling, Chair North Carolina A&T State University Board of Trustees
