i don't even need to pull his stats cuz i'm sure they're off the charts. i've watched shedeur sanders play all 3 of his games at colorado and i'm convinced that he's "by far" the best college qb in the country. he does "everything" extremely well that you can expect from a qb and i do mean "everything". he has "zero" flaws in his game and probably would be the first qb taken in the draft if he decides to go pro after this season, definitely a "top 5" overall pick if he left.
i remember when he was playing at jackson state and i stated at the time that i felt that he might be "the best" fcs qb in the country and some folk criticized me for saying that, saying that the only reason i said that was because his father is "primetime" sanders (akin to what folk said about me liking hooker as our qb).
well, i'm not in awe of celebrities whatsoever. i don't judge talent based on somebody's last name. i base it on "what i see" with my very own eyes and i knew 2 years ago that shedeur sanders might be "the best" fcs qb in the country as a true freshman. now, i'm saying he's the best college qb in the country, period. regardless of level...

Wonder if he will leave early or do like Ross did in track and stay with his dad for another season. …Who is the #2 Qb at Colo?

Wonder if he will leave early or do like Ross did in track and stay with his dad for another season. …Who is the #2 Qb at Colo? His dad answered he said he has told both his son’s that they are playing for CU next year! it won't hurt if he stays one more year as long as his performances don't decline and he doesn't incur any "major injuries". albeit, its hard to imagine that he can "improve" beyond where he already is, but he says he strides for "perfection" and i actually believe him. man, this dudes throws "darts"! and his "decision making" is beyond his years. he inherited his dad's dna, so he was born with plenty of "speed" but he rarely leaves the pocket. he's clearly a "heisman trophy" candidate so far this season and right now, i'd give him the edge. especially since his teammate who also transferred from jsu (travis hunter) got injured last week due an opposing db taking a "cheap shot" on him. otherwise, hunter would also be in the running too...

Caleb Williams would like a word with you. honestly, i haven't watched him play a full game before, but i've seen his highlights and didn't see him do anything that shedeur can't do. "at best", he can only be "as good" as shedeur cuz shedeur is dayum near "perfect" as a qb. i'm still rolling with shedeur...

Shedeur is the real deal, but not the best QB in college right now in my opinion. He is a great student of the game and Deion is correct if it is true that he said he needs another year in school. What he does this season against 5 to 7 top 25 conference teams this season will determine how good "others" think he is (Utah, USC, UCLA, Oregon, Oregon State, Washington, Washington State). Some of these teams will drop out of the top 25 in a few weeks. I already know he is very good.

See, he has some room to improve and if their offensive line is not fixed, I pray he does not get hurt.

not even the "goat" would look good when your offensive line doesn't give you enough time to pass the ball. on top of that, playing from 21 or more points behind against an already superior team makes it even more difficult to pass the ball because the defense gets to pin back their ears and go after the qb.
i still say shedeur is the best qb in the country. if the roles had been flipped (shedeur played for oregon and nix played for colorado) in this game, shedeur would've looked like the "goat" and nix would've looked worse than shedeur did today. i mean, shedeur got "sacked" a whopping 7 times and lawd knows how many times he got rushed and had passes batted down. plus, his best receiver (travis hunter) didn't play...

The Pac-12 has some very good QBs to where Shedeur may not finish in the top 3 in QBR in his conference. Still, he is a beast. By the way, he does not have his dad's DNA when it comes to speed. He is definitely above average 40 speed compared to QBs. What I like about him is that he does not have happy feet which has led to his high number of sacks when his offensive line breaks down.

You can make excuses for for Sanders and the players around him . Your basically saying that the talent at receiver is not there without Hunter (which is not accurate) and the line couldn't protect there QB . So I guess it's the OC's fault and not the talent that caused Colorado to not function properly, even in the short passing game. It was the talent Sanders had versus the talent Oregon had facing Colorado . The only thing different between what Colorado did versus Oregon and what A&T has been doing. Colorado played with purpose to win and executed their game plan ,Oregon just had more talented players. A&T is not playing with purpose to win for what ever reason Right Now, that is why we look and execute the way we do.

What happened to the short passing game that I thought you said always worked? that's so "stupid"! i said the short passing game works when the defense gives any of your receivers a "10 yard cushion" like uab gave us. news flash!! news flash!! oregon did not give colorado a "10 yard cushion" unless colorado needed more than 10 yards to gain a first down on 3rd down in which the short pass won't help you, its intended to pickup 4 or 5 yards with the "possibility" of gaining more. see, what you students don't understand is that calling plays is "situational". its based on what the defense gives you or what the defense can't do nothing about. never once did i say it works on "every play" of a game in every game. its predicated on "what the defense gives you" and what you need for a first down. please pull up any post that i made where i said what you "alleged" that i said? i'll wait, but i know you'll never find it because i never "said it". c'mon, students. let's pay better attention in class next time, geeesh...

Colorado played with purpose to win and executed their game plan ,Oregon just had more talented players. A&T is not playing with purpose to win for what ever reason Right Now, that is why we look and execute the way we do. ain't nobody making excuses. he got "sacked" 7 times "in part" because his o-line couldn't adequately protect him, oregon's db's were "superior athletes" (no receivers open), and he didn't have his best receiver (travis hunter) available. those aren't excuses, those are "FACTS". i thought you of all people would know better. oregon didn't give colorado's receivers a "10 yard cushion" unless colorado needed far more than 10 yards to gain a first down. man, i thought ya'll knew a little somethin' bout football. not every team plays defense the same way uab does. oregon has the "athletes" whereby they can "man up" on your receivers which takes away any "10 yard cushion". and then, there were times that oregon "disguised" their defense. meaning, when colorado's offense initially lined up at the los, oregon's db's may have " initially" showed a 10 yard cushion but then closed in "man-to-man" forcing shedeur to change the play at the los. oregon's defense was far more "sophisticated and skilled" than uab's which is why oregon is a "top 10" ranked team and uab ain't. you folk "over simplify" stuff. yes, i said short passes work. but i also said it only works when the defense gives you a "10 yard cushion". not a "disguised" 10 yard cushion which oregon did sometimes to confuse shedeur...
