Is our offensive line suffering due to the offensive scheme this season? I am curious to see if Coach Mattes has full control over the blocking scheme, I would hope so.

Don’t ask me why I’m saying this, because I don’t know, but I believe that Hooker would give us our best chance at winning. With the small amount of time that I’ve seen him play, makes me believe that he sees the field well, reacts well and without panic. They should at least give him a shot to see.

He must look terrible in practice or he said something bout the ox’s mama cause with these numbers it’s almost like they’re afraid he’ll actually be successful.

If I'm not mistaken Hooker is still a Walk-on because I don't think that Washington awarded Hooker with a scholarship before his departure. That could be the case . No coach wants a Walk-on out preforming his scholarship players. As far as practice goes from what I have seen of the first 2 veterans. I can't see Hooker being that far behind Eli and Yeager. It want be the first time that a coach over looked a player for what ever reason this I know first hand 😆. Also if Hooker was that terrible in practice Being a Greensboro kid . Somebody would have have said something..i.e Roy or Thrilla.

I have been stating the exact words you are stating . I feel the exact same way . Hooker is a veteran outside of Yeager Hooker has the most in game experience in our QB's room . Why hasn't he got his Shot . Hell they don't even have Hooker listed on the depth chart but yet he is on the roster 🤔 . I totally agree that Hooker could be what is missing at our QB position but it's not my call as a fan . But if it was my call to make Hooker would have gotten the call before Yeager in my opinion.
