Nick Wilds-Lawing did play.
I believe only Korion Sharpe & Ger-Cari Caldwell, of our starters weren't there/didn't play.

After thinking about the whole play calling scenario and not throwing the ball on the short passing routes ,I came to the conclusion that the coaching staff was being extra cautious about showing our playbook to our future opponents ,especially NCCU .We all know that Brick ,Hooker and Yeager can throw those routes and the receivers can run those routes because we've seen them do it in scrimmages and the spring game .That is why coach played the true freshman KJ White , he didn't want any film on our new schemes nor our 2nd and 3rd string QB's .My hope is we do whatever is necessary ,as far as plays and players to beat NCCU .
On another note all of you conspiracy theorists that have your panties in a wad need to chill out about this interest meeting deal .If you honestly think that coach is desperately looking to bring any more players in this week ,to have them ready to play against NCCU must be smoking that Snoop Dogg type weed , puff puff pass ,LOL .

I respectfully disagree with your conclusion about the play calling. Yes, coaches do limit their play book for each game depending on what they feel may work against the next opponent, non-essential games that don't effect conference or playoff ranking, etc. I don't believe that is the case for the UAB game. You are giving the impression that we are so afraid of NCCU that we can't run standard plays or play key players because they will figure it out and beat us. We play to win the game. Coach Brown wanted a better performance from his team last weekend and would not have allowed the team to be embarrassed because he was saving plays and players for NCCU. Now taking players out to avoid them getting hurt after the game is already determined is another thing. Sorry, I can't buy your conclusion.
