might wanna checkout the nebraska at colorado game this weekend on fox, 12noon saturday. coach prime's offense is fun to watch and colorado is now "ranked" at #22 in the ap poll. got this game cue'd up to be recorded on my dvr.
also 12noon on saturday, i've got va. tech hosting purdue cue'd up to be recorded. just wanna see tuten in week 2. he was only "so, so" last week against odu but it wasn't his fault. va. tech's o-line just wasn't opening up any holes. actually, tuten led va. tech in rushing last week gaining 55yds on 19 carries, 2.9 yds per carry. not a typical tuten kinda day...

this weekend, tuten only rushed for 4 "net" yards (long was 14yds), but he caught two passes outta the backfield for a total of 45yds and 1 td that was from 30yds out...

Roberts had another big game: 11 tackles and a sack Didn't see any stats from King yeah, va. tech's o-line is garbage relative to run blocking. they just don't open holes for the run game, so they "wisely" decided to start getting tuten the ball in the open field by targeting him with passes outta the backfield and it worked. i look for tuten to start catching more passes outta the backfield in the coming games... |
