Hampton lookin much improved out there Made too many penalties first half...so did Grambling. They killed drives and cost them field position. |

oh hail naw! Norfolk's coach better win the MEAC this season otherwise he's gone! Game ended terribly too. NSU had the ball down three with 2 mins to go & a score of 27-24 VSU leading, drove down the field & couldn’t convert on 4th & goal. VSU takes over on downs on their own like 3 yard line or something, with a minute and some change left. These guys get all the way to fourth & goal with under 10 seconds left. Instead of snapping the ball and just taking the safety so they can win, the QB scrambled & ran out of bounds….with 1 second left on the clock. So now NSU has the ball again & can attempt a FG to tie for OT (which will be like a 10 yard FG)….& they muff the snap. VSU recovered and ran it in, to make the final score be 33-24 And to make matters worse, I didn’t realize Norfolk has an all-time losing record to VSU too, even having been D1 for 50+ years now & having double the scholarships |
