Those of us that donate to the AAF but live outside Gboro do not have access to these kind of sessions.

Can you all ask how many season tickets were sold and breakdown between reserved and GA sales?

The long and short of it.
1. We're going to move straight ahead on all the football related improvements (stadium renovation, practice fields, athletic center, etc.) No waiting period on this.
2. Two of 3 archetects have submitted final designs for Memorial. Should get the decision on that shortly. Still battling the historical society over the facade.
3. Ideal athletic budget for us is 20 million, currently at 16. That figure would put us in vwry solid ground with the rest of the CAA. Comparing budgets with other schools is deceiving because the cost of tuition to go to A&T is way smaller than a Elon or W&M. Also lower operational costs.
4. We are still understaffed but have begun the process to fill almost 30 positions. Emphasis on marketing and support personnel.
5. Nothing official yet but expect divisional play next year with just one plane trip per year. Regional schedules will be the norm.
6. Recruiting a much different kind of athlete in the CAA. Will need to get bigger in football. We're fine for the Big South and MEAC but will have to add more size, especially on defense. Getting far better athletes to A&T since conference move to CAA.
7. APR on football is fine. Basketball is iffy because of all of the transfers. Should right itself now with new leadership. Won't know for sure until the reporting is completed. 8. Capitol improvement consultanting firm finalizing the final figures the BOT approval for the campaign. Expect a 100 million goal. Will be approaching the legislature for a new convocation center with classroom space to qualify for state funding. Est. cost- 225 million.

Also have sold most season tickets ever. Sales figures have been phenomenal. Band marching 250 pieces this year, largest since 2003 from what I was told. They will be seated in the horseshoe this year.

All that stuff should have been resolved last year. Not to mention the historical society is probably less than ten(10) people.

#3 - Didn't Chancellor say the budget goal was $25 million?

Not sure what to make of this. According to the last BOT update, all the football related improvements (minus practice fields) aren’t supposed to start until late ‘26 using fundraising dollars. Does this mean those plans are shifting left? Sure would be nice.

They are. It also will include some of the other marquee sports as well with some City of Greensboro investment. The major immediate funding will come from the university's indebtedness plan, budget increases and student fees.

A1 - Any idea what constitutes "lower operational costs"?
