KSU is in Atlanta and by 2025 they will be fully transitioned to FBS. USF as a money game in Tampa. Atlanta and Central Florida are going to be areas we recruit hard going forward. Additionally, we recruit a lot of students from Atlanta and the surrounding suburbs. A&T has always recruited heavy in Florida & GA . That will not change anytime soon. A&T has a foot print in both states from the Top to the bottom. So playing KSU is not going to change A&T's recruiting process or presence in either state . Playing in those locations can only help not hinder, nothing wrong with investing a little time and energy in fertile recruiting areas.

Playing Hampton only twice in an 8 year span with Elon & Campbell as permanent opponents sucks.

Where did you get that from, your source of information is a bit inaccurate The other six conference opponents rotate through the schedule, ensuring that all teams meet each other at least once at home and on the road over an eight-year period. Limiting air travel to reduce costs was also a priority in the new scheduling model, with most teams not having more than one flight each season during conference play.

Thanks for providing A&T's future out of Conference schedule. It's very helpful...

We play Townson which is close to the DC area dmv aggie alums will not turnout in similar numbers at towson that turnout at howard. we have "zero" history with towson and towson is actually closer to baltimore than the dc area. i think aggie attendance at towson for wbb is evidence that aggie alums in the dmv prefer howard over towson. we literally "packed" burr gymnasium whenever we played howard in dc, often having almost as many aggies there as bison. you won't see that at towson... Not sure why it's important to pack out someone else's stadium or gym. But ok. My point being , NCA&T Athletics have contests in the area

I'll just add that we need to play a schedule that best helps us achieve our post season objectives.

Does this not mean twice in 8 years? Play every conference member “ at least” twice in 8 years. That is the minimum number of times we play a team, not the maximum.

Let's add three more years to the Winston Salem State contract.

For now I would push for SCSU. If we become more competitive in the CAA to where strength of schedule starts mattering for us then I will revisit.

Let's add three more years to the Winston Salem State contract. i would've agreed if our program was still winning. but now? i dunno, nothing worst than losing to a d2 team when your program is "supposedly" advancing to a stronger fcs conference. at this point, i'm not so sure that we can beat wssu...
