You answered your own question... JC Smith is a private institution, which means they are struggling financially too! All HBCUs are facing financial challenges but private HBCUs have a bigger mountain to climb. JC Smith isn't in a position to take on the challenge of Barber Scorcia. Exactly! JCSU can't even protect their own borders. Gentrification has dang near moved to their door steps. Something I think we should explore. We'd pull a ton of students from Concord and North Charlotte. If A&T was to Annex Barber Scotia . What would the UNC system say ? |
