Interesting stat: We only took 9-3pointers compared to Drexel’s 18 however overall the team shot over 50% for the game. Great coaching and discipline! The defense was very active from the beginning! I don’t think I’ve seen a game yet, where they came out the gate double teaming everyone. Think I counted about 6 charges.(some missed assignments..but that’s the price u pay for double teaming) Did get about 5 traveling calls. Noticed that as well, typically we don't deploy the trapping 3/4 defense until 2nd half. Can't remember if Washington was in fou trouble on first half, but I noticed she only played the last possession of the 2nd qtr. I originally was thinking, Drexels coach felt she could save Washington for a hard 2nd half push, especially since we did throw the trap out their early with Washington out but Drexel maintained their lead. Since we did trap early I was wondering if she was thinking we would have no legs left in the 4th qtr and Washington would be fresh down the stretch. Well that backfired, Washington did put up 23 points but she wasn't able to completely takeover the game. Much credit goes to D'Mya Tuckers length as she did bother Washington on shot attempts. I've said on Twitter, when Acox faces up, her first step is lethal, and is able to blow by most CAA defenders for layups. Double edge sword of Harris being down is when Clark goes out, when become small and rebounding becomes a problem, but conversely when are more athletic defensively and can really get after opponents. In those instances, stsff just needs to reiterate the importance of team rebounding while maintaining floor balance. Will be interesting how we coach that up in tournament. Should be a good one in Towson, MD.

wow, words can't express how very "proud" i am of our ladies and coach "t" rob! coach "t" rob gets it!! what a stark "contrast" between our women's team and our men's team. almost total opposites.
our ladies play with "discipline and structure". they "share" the basketball and execute a structured offense. they excel at "feeding the post". and they play hard nosed defense. our men did the "total opposite" of those things which is why they struggled.
coach "t" rob is a beast!! he does things the "right way", that's why he's had very positive results and that's why i've "always" been a big supporter of him. we need a coach who exhibits the same qualities as coach "t" rob for our men's program. not suggesting that coach "t" rob apply for the job, but if you're looking to hire a men's coach that has the "qualities" to succeed at a&t without "breaking the bank", then coach "t" rob is your blueprint...

Coach T Rob should stay where he's at. There is a great difference in coaching male and females. No need to break up a successful program.
Keep searching Chancellor Martin just as you and Hilton did to find a football coach.
Yall got to get it right this time!!

OSA why you keep worrying about breaking the bank? They know how much they have budgeted.
You keep talking about AAU coaches, high school coaches and now our ladies coach. Evidently you want our program to stay stagnant because you are El Cheapo.
Let our administration determine what kind of contract they want to present and to whom they want to present it to.
